Let me sum it up for you:

 

Pros

 

EFI

Underseat exhaust

Best looking 400 OTR areal head turner

Best handling

lots of original accessories from both side of the world :Japan n Europe

Able to speed up 198km I personally have not tried, I'm the kiasee type

 

 

Cons

 

Zero storage

Mileage not as good as S4 becos alot s4 will chase after you.

Not honda so ppl say poor resale value. (Not tested)

PI bike (i feel there is no diff)

Most expensive 400 ( price dropping now used to cost $14500)

 

Then again the above opinions are biased becos I love my GSR kekeke

When u ride a GSR, u will understand the beauty of the bike...

 

Another con is that parts will be a little expensive coz it is not brought in in high quantity...

 

Another pros is that we can share the same parts as the 600

GSR got the latest technology n looks. wat a class 2 bike have, GSR has it. its EFI, digital speedo with gear indicator n digital coolant temp gauge, monoshock, big rear tyre.

 

if u compare to S4, GSR really outclass it...

 

the disadvantage is spares need to wait instead of available everywhere. n of cos the zero storage space.

 

n there r more n more GSRs OTR so no worries man...

my sentiments too...

 

if GSR becomes too saturated, e value of it definitely will drop...

 

if its too rare, finding spare parts may become an issue thou SUZUKI parts are more or less e same...

certain GSX-R parts might be able to be fitted onto GSR...

 

i wont wanna see e day when GSR becomes as saturated as S4...

 

too common i wont like it...

 

go to one carpark, throw one stone, and u can hit at least 3 S4 currently...

 

too common becomes too boring liao...

 

no offence to S4 riders...

juz my personal feelings...

Bro, not worth to spend $500 on a wind shield. If you want to go touring invest in a good helmet, jacket, gloves and paniers.

the engine value is the same.. even how many suzuki on the road.. only thing good is that got more spares if got more bike..

but there ain't big enough windscreens for GSR at the moment... they r more on cosmetic...
