Wee.. juz got my 2A... looks like I'm joining the GSR clan soon~

But I kinda confuse and need some advice.

Coz I only have 2A, no 2. but GSR, got 400cc and 600cc. and the Difference of these 2 bikes is only about 1-2k. Pointless to change a GSR400 to GSR600 right? costly lor.

I wonder, if i can Hiong ride the 600cc ones anot.

Whether is there a way TP can tell if my bike is 400 or 600?

But the Best alternative is, If i there is a way to change my bike cap from 400 to 600, After I get my C2 licence, then don't need to change to GSR600 bike and risk getting caught my law.

Any tips? Is it possible?

u wanna hiong, can... in the expense of ur pocket n licence being revoked... if u intend to get a class 2 bike after class 2A, get a 2nd hand bike is the best. save alot of money n depreciation oso not that much... a S4 got a good resale value. after 1 year u sell, at most lost 2k.

as in changing of bike capacity, not that possible... even if u modify the bore n stroke to change the compression ratio, u wun hit 600 from the 400 engine. besides that, ur exhaust have to change.

so u can consider wat u want... then decide... if u wan a GSR6, get a S4, then wait till u get ur class 2 then get a 1st hand GSR6...

that's my personal opinion...

Yah yah i know Etcetera (ETC) mean extra brake hahaha. You mean EBC lah!. So far we have only tested the BRAKING and the review from our techman says :thumb:

I think EBC is a UK brand and they do carry GSR400/600 brake pads but I do no know who is representing them in Spore.

anyway, i miss wildcard.

Whats the best way to remove reflective sticker from the rim ? :giddy: Take hells of time to remove it, it breaks into tiny bit when removing making it unable to remove by peeling

Use WD40 to remove those sticky parts :cheeky:

The killing part is how to peel off the sticker. Take 1 hr to remove both side of 1 rim by scratching off with finger nail ,and my finger feel very sore  . Still got 1 more rim to go :(

Any GSR owner resprayed their bikes here?

Or Is there anyone going to respray soon?

Coz, I hate the sliver part of GSR, feels like cheap plastics like that, so intend to respray it, once i bought it. But I scare that the end result might be worst off... Any suggestion?

The Tank Key cover, also quite turn off, plastic 1.. any idea can change that to metal 1 insteaD?

lao_yang>>> lizardskins can be found at higher end bikeshops & can be had

fo about $10. they come in blue, black & red, & i know where to get some.

:hungry:

swoosh>>> old men shouldn't be so sensitive ok? menopause already?

kevonz>>> what skateboy said is right. unless you're the rich type because

the bike will depreciate very fast. also, if you want to try to hiong, you still

need to consider the possibility of roadbloacks and random checks where you

will have problems when they ask for your insurance.

anyway, respraying is going to be very costly if you're talking about doing it to

the whole bike. will involve disassembly/assembly and some days. look at the

previous page (131), search for 'poison', some ideas there.

there's a CF ignition cover by suzuki, not sure if it's being imported here though.

levin>>> if you stay in private housing, use steam to weaken the

adhesives, should be easier to peel off then. some kerosene or wd40 would

remove any residue.

mods done:

powerplant device, fuel injector venturis,

underseat cylindrical air filter, bassy stock cans,

super-sensitive in-built gyroscope, inertia-based accelerometer,

streamlined panniers (zero drag),

taped up wires, exposed grounding wires,

TBC mounted, custom tire pressures.

litre bikes watch out! :gun:

how come u stick reflective sticker on ur rim n wanna take out?? its hard to peel off cos its thin n stretchable. it takes alot of time to peel off all of them. unless u wan them for good, if not, dun paste the rim tape...
