I go there to buy the 2 plastic screws on the ignition cover, they got the GSR parts catalog ,so should have wide range of parts

Yup Ever Success is at Lembu lane opp mustafa, do call em up to order ur parts as rare parts like those screws needs to be pre-ordered.

Last night got a fellow GSR rider gave mi a friendly 'honk honk' when he overtake mi at 1st lane... haha so nice. Mi running in so maintain 85km/h pillion my gal. Didn't know who he was so didn't honk back, whoever u are, pls pardon my ignorant coz mi never encounter such a courteous rider b4 on sillypore road, hope to meet u someday bah haha... mystery GSR rider.

Good idea.. u count and let us know lor..

 

I used to put a dot of white Blanco on the tip of one tooth and turn rear wheel while on centre stand. After counting, remove blanco.

 

Also used this method on flywheel markings too, looking through a tiny slot.

anytime when there is outing, just join in. or u organise, then we join in lor. :D so far so good, n GSR is still abit rare though its getting more n more on the road, it seems that GSR riders r more friendly.

Yes, U are right, the parts need to be pre-ordered, make a trip down yesterday to buy the plastic screw, too bad no stock , got to make another trip down today to collect.

Yup. The front sprocket of some of my bikes were blocked and can't be read. Also, I usually count(even the rear sprocket) to make sure. This way, I know what to order before I renew sprockets and chain(I usually renew all as a set whenever my chain wears out).

all sprockets got state the number of teeth they have. no need to count. the rear sprocket can c. the small one which is covered, unless u take out, else cannot c how many teeth they have... but i heard 15T for the small one is a norm?

So long as there is a line-of-sight to the front sprocket in-between the top and lower part of chain at this sprocket(no matter how small the gap), I can always put blanco on a chopstick or long rod and mark out as mentioned and, using a torch, count the number of teeth.

but it sounds tedious leh. esp if the bike got no mainstand.
