hello guys, im fretting over spec3 and GSR400.

 

some basic questions to ask, what's the FC for 1 full tank?

 

maintence expensive? cos it's a relatively new bike.

 

does it cost more than spec3?

 

and lastly, does the GSR400 deliver more power than s4? maybe even can zoom past spec3 easily?

for 400CC it hold 16l FC 1l about 20+km that what i calculated

 

about this im still very as my GSR still running in...go as the old bird..

 

the different is about 1 to 1.5k

 

definitely as my friend happen to be a TP bought spec 3 sama day as i bought mine and he test it and regret buy spec 3...hehehe...that what he said..after testing mine...

FC for both spec 3 n GSR4 is almost the same. normal riding like change gear at krpm 3 or 4 then cruise ard 100km/h, FC is about 20 - 22km/l. tank capacity for GSR is 16.5L n spec 3 18L.

 

maintenance is almost the same but GSR is on the high side cos tyre size is bigger, EO sump is bigger, parts not so widely available. spec 3, parts r widely available anywhere n got more variety between stock n aftermarket parts.

 

new bike, GSR would cost more than spec 3.

 

both r 400cc so its not possible for GSR to zoom pass spec 3 but handling wise, i would say GSR is better. power wise, both abt the same...

oh yah. through my understanding, we cannot service the bike as per normal? like washing of carb ? instead need to use dyno jetting?

GSR is EFI... spec 3 is carb... different. EFI dun need to service that often. but if u r talking about servicing injectors, no motorshop got the equipment to service injectors... the only way is to clear carbon once in a while.
