running in

meaning, 1000km, 1300km or other intervals depends on the method you choose.

mineral oil should be used throughout the process.

servicing, any shop you trust. it's just like any other oil change.

remember to change the oil filter everytime.

price for front FA158HH pads will cost $56.50 per pair and the rear FA419 will cost $41.90.

 

apparently the rear pads are not the sintered ones though... dunno if the prices are worth it to get a set to keep at home

price for front FA158HH pads will cost $56.50 per pair and the rear FA419 will cost $41.90.

 

apparently the rear pads are not the sintered ones though... dunno if the prices are worth it to get a set to keep at home

you don't understand.

the distance between oil changes during running in varies between methods.

but generally, the 1st oil change is done at 80, then 3 more oil changes at 800

to 1000km intervals. mineral oil, new oil filter.

 

other methods will have different intervals and distances in between.

what you need to do is choose one method and follow it to the letter.

 

after that, your engine is considered ready for synthetic oil.

why mineral, not synthetic for running in?

the simple answer is that mineral oil is better for this process.
