5W bulb used up more power ,1W led use less power, thats it. In return u save some juice from the electrical sytem. There is no extra current from the power u save going to kill u, wonder who teach u that? No offence :cheeky:

Unless there is really something wrong with your electrical then its going to kill u. But don't think 12V DC system can kill or else many will be killed when handling battery

BTW ,u can anytime change to lower wattage bulb/led but not higher in case it melt down the housing.

its true that it uses less power, but for me, i dono how the wiring works, so play safe just use the normal bulb. :thumb: Last time my electrical engineering lecturer from India. Heavy accent. So i can never quite understand wad he says. lol tats y become mech eng. lol

Anw, here is an interesting misconception ppl have about current. http://www.physics.ohio-state.edu/~p616/safety/fatal_current.html

not dun welcome. next time got any outing posted on the forum, quote it, then delete the n it will retain the same font setting the organiser. :thumb:

OOO...icic...thanks man i guess i'll see you all soon.:thumb:

yea man! i cannot forget that day when they interviewed me.

but it all went well. the kadi asked me only 2 questions, whether i will be able to support my wifey and if everything i noted down in the forms are true.

then he went on advicing me about marraige life and such. :)

I heard stories that some of the 'senior' kadis are damn strict and will grill you.

I had a good chat with one of the attendees of my marriage course and the guy was talking about how he kena grill about a lot of things, like from religious questions to even prayer verses.

Kaoz. Really kenna terok-terok for that one.

Sorry if this question being ask before. What is the recommended idle rpm for the 400?

By right, ought to be between 1.1K to 1.3K RPM.

Anyway I'm just trying to point out that eg. instead of switching ON the air-con tonight, u decided to use the fan instead. So U are not going to be killed by the power u save. Unless u eat full nothing to do go and poke your finger into the live socket.

But we won't c better FC by using lower wattage bulb in motorbike. When u have low batt, every mA counts u save can use to crank the engine. :thumb:

:cheeky: dont scare him la ... no worry ..nothing to worry about...just focus on the "akad nikah verse".....during my time the kadi shake my hand high high till i blurr on wat to say ...

Hi guys.

I am currently riding SP and taking my class 2a.

Just doing some research on a potential 2a bike for me.

Don't mind me asking noob questions.

Came to this thread when I chanced upon a thread comparing GSR400 and S4. After reading that thread, I do admire GSR400 for it's supposedly low-mid range compared to a higher range of S4, and the digital meters compared to S4.

Seen quite few GSR400 on the roads, and I do like the headlight design and underseat exhausts as well.

I am quite short and can only tip-toe both legs on BBDC's S4.

One side, can place my foot flat.

I'm wondering if the GSR400 seat height is any higher or lower then S4?

Also, is there still any GSR400 1st hand out there?

What's the difference buying from a bike shop and the respective distro?

(If any info in my post is wrong, I do apologize. All the info I've included in this post is what I've read in other threads. Do correct me as well.)

GSR's seat height is definitely higher than S4. but its the technique of handling the bike n not how high the bike is. u can easily find a 1st hand GSR but not a 2nd hand unit. do refer to 281 n 282 for more info on gsr. n if u r still uncertain about the height of the bike, do join us in any outing to ask n to c the bike physically. since u r still taking ur 2A, u got time to consider whether to get the gsr or the revo. :D

Sorry if this question being ask before. What is the recommended idle rpm for the 400?

most bike's idling shd slightly above 1000rpm.

What?? I did I misunderstood? GSR400 STOPPED Production?

Please update me~ haven't been in here for ages...

btw, anyone can advise me?

I have intention of opening my exhaust block, to make it louder. BuT~

Where can I do it and how much roughly?

What can I do when Inspection arrives?

Is the action reversable?

different bike shops quote different price. that includes admin charges. looi's r the one who import the bikes. bike production get the bike from them so if looi's dun have stock, bike production wun have the stock too. we would recommand potential buyer to buy at looi's instead. at least u know do they have the bike n the colour u wan over there. n all admin shd take ard 1 wk to process.

Its depend lah, if people like ej with a very decent and responsible look, they wont drag so much cause they also busy,

But if someone looks like "mat2" obviously they will ask more question, just to make sure he knows what he is doing and what he can expect from marriage life...

well wad is ur height? I'm also short, onli 1.68m. I'm riding the gsr.

ur last qn i can't ans. coz i dono wad distro means. lol sorry man i aso noob.:thumb:

i think i'm around 1.65

distro = distributor. like boonsiew honda etc.

GSR's seat height is definitely higher than S4. but its the technique of handling the bike n not how high the bike is.

do refer to 281 n 282 for more info on gsr

since u r still taking ur 2A, u got time to consider whether to get the gsr or the revo. :D

actually, i'm not really worried if i'm on the roads.

just thinking about when parking backwards or stop at traffic light, where height matters.

regarding page 281 and 282, i have actually been there already but, i guess my forum settings are different, so i cannot find the posts.

hoping if any kind souls could either, share their forum settings regarding those 2 page, or just link me to the posts directly. :)

thanks for inviting me to the outing, but i'm kinda introvert, so no thanks. :)

actually, i totally cannot decide between getting a Spec3 or a GSR. But most probably won't be getting a Revo. Haha... Maybe if i decide on getting a Class 2, I might even consider R6 and skipping 2A. But I'm not really confident in myself to be able to get Class 2 because of my height, frame and size. Short, small frame + small size. I actually look like a 16 year old, when I'm already 20 this year.

thanks people for replying to my queries.
