hey guys, i wanna get a bag. the ones that fit nicely on our tank.does anybody here got those magnetic ones...? any effects or issues regarding it...? especially on the tanks... does it leaves any marks.... or scratches...?

If you wan to test, maybe next meet up I'll bring my bagster tank bag...then from there you see how la. But my model is 2006. 2008 is nicer.

hi guys...

planning to get a GSR 400 soon...

jus wondering wat are da aftermarket pipes available for the 400?

Only 1, that is street legal. WR'S made in Japan. But not here yet. Motoworld bringing those in.

Other option is to use 600cc pipes, but prepare enough to pay for fines, if caught.

Check out this site:

Their tankbags utilizes a collar around the gascap, making it extremely secure yet will not cause scratches as the tank surface itself is not used as the mounting points.

Plus some of the bags look damn cool and aerodynamic...

BikeTech21 brings in this brand. I saw some of the bags at BikeAsia.

Thanks motorfreak n imran 4 de in-depth how-to. i prefer to try de easier one 1st(remove rear pads). Pics would really help alot.

My rubbers cost $420

Yesterday i clocked more than 100 km already so today i tried some corners...

Wow these tyres really stick! N it increases my lean. I can feel it "guiding me" down as i take a corner.

Alamak bro i was caught up in a meeting last nite ah. Perhaps tonite will service my rear brakes and take pics for it. Sori again.

$420 for the rubbers. They had better grip else u should throw them back at the bike shop. Hahahhaah. Sounds tempting thou. But my travel distance is far to and from work. I think i stick to BT021 for now.

Hi Guys,

I met with 2 funny incident these 2 days. Just checking if anyone face this before.

1) I was caught up in a traffic jam, then when i was abt to move off, my engine stalled, i tried to restart but cant. Then temp went up to 100 deg, i pushed to one side but still cant start immediately. Only managed to restart after the bike cooled down a little. After i went back to office(abt 2 hours later) I could not start the bike again. Only after a few cranking then the bike finally got started. Brought it to 2 bike shop (with the help of ah gui) but they say got no problem... funny right?

2) Went for ict this morning.... after i reached the guard house to exchange for pass, (i off the engine to go to the guard house), i went back to restart the bike. The funny thing is when i kick to gear 1 with clutch in the engine died. Tried a few times but engine keep dying. Saw the gear display a "-" sign. Only after turning the trottle a bit and kicking to gear 1 then ok.

Anyone experience this before, or know the reason why? please enlighten me so that i can go talk to the bike shop. Thank u so much for ur help and advice!!

100deg? Dude fans did not come on ah? Could be a faulty sensor. My bike came out with that problem.

Gears sensor could be the problem here as well. Best head back to agent or bikeshop. Still under warranty mah.

1) when the bike is overheated, it is normal that the bike need to cool down b4 u can restart it again. how new is ur bike? ur batt might b weak therefore it takes a few times to crank start the bike. do b careful not to over do it else if the batt runs low, u need to push start the bike or change batt.

to the prob. is ur fan working properly? where is ur number plate situated?

2) clutch in, engage gear one, engine died? u didn't kick up the side stand isit? side stand got a sensor, whereby u can start only at neutral. if wanna engage gear, side stand must b up.

fan sensor, possible. gear sensor, unlikely. gear sensor if i'm not wrong, it only feedback to the gear indicator. even if its not working, the bike shd b able to start n run normally. of cos, gear 1 engaged with side stand down, engine will stall.

Have quite similar problems...

1) Was at 5th gear, as the traffic gets heavier, i clutch in, change to 4th, release clutch slowli and open throttle at the same time, engine dies off. I was in the middle of the road, so, quickli clutch in again, restart engine apply same technique, moved smoothly.

2) At a junction, from neutral gear change to 1st gear, before open throttle engine dies off.. As traffic light is green already, i qucikli clutch in while on 1st gear, turn on engine and moved on smoothly.

Unlikely due to clutch coordination problems. This happened twice alrd, better go checkup.. Anybody can advise what happened?
