innocenti > Have u settle ur keys problem yet? If u paid full cash i think u will need to have the small tag number that comes with ur pairs of keys. I have got my tag when i got my bike but lost the tag when i leave MAH. If u have it u can duplicate the keys. just tell the key maker the code and he/she will program it for u.

Hey man. No prob. was there to settle my old bike's insurance also so is on the way. BUT waiting for the pads is what hard. 1 hour for the pads u know. BUT if i no wait for it i will not see supersonic and will have no free dessert... hahahaa. WINNER IS ME WAHAHHAHAHHAHA.

i dun think we will stay late in malaysia lor. shd b go in makan, top up petrol n head back. mayb got phase 2 but those gotta work, recommand to go back after that.

 

actually, u dun really need to bother about who u saw on the road, out of 10 gsr riders, mayb 2 or 3 r active forumers. the others, dun come in at all. so dun b surprised. even if u c me, i wun bother even to say hi if i dunno who is u.

I just bought a GSR400 today and this is the first hand bike. When I rode it back home, the total milage is 14km only, but I noticed something very wierd ... the temp guage shows 99 Degree Celsius, to me wow .... can that be real ? Is the temperature of the guage be that high or did the engine overheated? I am very eager to know the answer to what is the average temperature should be? Of cos, I will call the bike shop first thing they open tommorrow, but now it is already closed. So I resort to this forum, because all of you are already seasoned riders of GSR.

 

Please advise.

Is this your first 400cc ride? If it is, I believe it is normal to have that kind of temperature range. I believe as long as the High Temp Icon does not appear, it is alright.

 

One reason for having that temperature is maybe you are riding too slow + the VERY HOT weather today. Ride faster, since you are running in, do try not to exceed 5000 rpm constantly. Hope that helps.

Hey bro. When the temp hit 99. Did the fan kick in and bring it down to abt 88-89? If it does then fret not. Its normal. And at least u know the fan works. hahahahah. This is normal during running in. Imagine how i felt on a GSR600?? My leg hairs nice and crispy.. Hhahahaha.
