i oredi brought in the engine guard...but stil considering if i shud install it or get sliders...highly likely to stick to engine guard and install it this saturday..

finally took by bike yesterday...so happy...took my first ride to work today..average 4K RPM & 65km/h...LUN...kena overtaken by so many trucks/JB bikes/etc...i don care..i totally enjoying my ride..

 

Congrates for getting your bike... but sad thing is that you didn't go for Revo ... Revo should have beat the crap out of those JB cub kia and those trucks even when running in...

 

Anyway... if this is the first time riding a 400cc bike, then you should give yourself sometime to adjust to the torque of the bike ... just like making love ... go slow and steady first ... foreplay with your new ride ... and when she is ready for you ... go and pump her hard

 

Sorry for a bit of adult lingo here ... just for fun... no offense to those strict nerd who can't stand adult lingo from people like me

Wow ... Blue GSR ... a rarity... machiam like a rare species for GSR ... have not seen a blue GSR at shops or on road yet ... maybe you can post some photos of your new ride to us ....

blue wer got rare?...here got a few wad....but luckily i pestered and lun the bike shop to get blue...ALMOST settled for matt black cos backside itchy oredi that time..lol...

You can always get watever stock for RC8 ... and respray to your likings(pink RC8???)

 

Yah right loh ... never been able to join you guys ... last friday almost wanted to join you guys for the GSS at regina ... but last minute the meet out cancelled...

 

Hopefully the next outing ... my schedules permits me to join you guys ... not that I am super busy ... but I have two kids at home and being a single parent ... hard to leave them alone with my maid ....

i would still advice to get the crashbar fitted before you even ride it out of the shop. you never know when **** happens. i skidded mine of the 2nd day out of the shop while trying to avoid a jaywalker good thing i had sliders

anyways, checked my EO level. full as ever. yet to check the coolant level. and yes my number plate is mounted at the fork protectors. maybe its blocking the airflow. but its ok during normal rides at 110km/h though.. ive read somewhere that cylinder temperatures are the hottest at peak power on the curve. 140km/h i think equates to about 8500rpm, which is 500rpm to peak power already. so maybe i think there wasnt sufficient cooling..
