has anyone tried dieturbing the pipe? i have seen this malay guy staying near my place with his GSR pipe freaking loud. so i would like to ask if the pipe can me mod?

my take...plenty of "underground stuff" to do...

to achieve powerful loud exhaust sound...

if u willing to have $500 to stand-by...

in case kena caught by Mata-chia...

if NOT, answer is NO for GSR400...

 

ps: maybe u guys should have put in your names for submission for our GSR400 Ghost Exhaust approval list we did recently so that we can have a legal "more powderful exhaust" to blast your presence in OG...if not, do try to check back on previous post before shoooting off similar qns with no new/relevant updates...OR you can decide to simply do what you need to do to make it as powderful as you want...but do exercise discretion instead of asking everyone what illegal stuff can be done on the main thread...do quietly...stay low profile la...and ownself responsible for own actons if kena caught...ask consensus here serves no point one...except to give you false reassurance that its OK..but nonetheless..the penalty fo getting caught is the same...HAIZZ....

quietly bring to any bike exhaust shop...

they will know exactly wad and how to do it...

 

but real brudder-ly advice...

nothing beats the feeling of stock/legal...

u won feel worried of road blocks or inspection...

that peace of mind feeling when u ride...trust me la...priceless...

Talk about vibration.... my baby GSR vibrates like she is taking estasy ... how badly did the vibration? Well ... good enough to cramp my both hands and fingers when I went up the trip to Afamosa... even if I am wearing gloves ... still it does not dampen the vibration ... probably I have gripped too tightly on my handle bar bah ... ... I scare my GSR run away without me... so got to hold on to it with my dearly life... was travelling average 140km/h at NSH ....

 

Vibrations are normal I guess... normally it is small vibrations... if your bikes are experiencing major vibrations.. best to send to mech to spotcheck it first ...

 

Too bad we do not have instruments to measure the scale of vibrations... otherwise we can go steal the "dunno what scale"(Richard scale or wat... hehe) that measure the earth quake level ...

 

As for sound issue ... GSR is truely a stealth street fighter... she can pur like a persian cat if you keep your rpm low ... and roar like a lion if you hit the rpm to it's limit... I have tested and proven .... if anyone have not tried... you can simple accelerate with gear one all the way till you hit above 10k rpm... I cannot describe how it feels with words... but the feeling of sudden light weighteness... truely is inspiring... as for the sound... macam like F1 cars sia ... Vzrooooommmm....

 

eh, i wouldn't quite advise that. i maybe wrong but i was told by some mechanics nv to drag gear 1. drag gear 2 and above is ok. better to be safe than sorry.

Actually all pipes can be mod, but as other said earlier, do at ur own risk... u may one to read my previous post...

My conclusion theres is 2 options:

If u want to experience it, drag at 1st gear..

If u want to experience it + healthy engine, drag only in gear 2 or above....

Hey guys. Just to point out something ah. At RPM 6, gear 6, the bike is only able to hit 90 km per hour ah. I used to be able to hit around 98km at that gear and RPM but after tht time i hit a stupid rock and accidentally blow my bike than the speed like that liao. Anyone can advise?
