hi guys, i recently bought over my s4 vtec 1 from one of the forum guys and i found out that the steering/handling of the handlebars is quite hard to turn. I just changed my steering cone at unique as i thought that could be the reason however, the mechanics there told me that my front rims was dented. Could this be the reason for the stiff steering/handling? As i tried my friend's super 4, his handling is much more easy to steer than mine so could it be the dented rim causing this problem?

try riding straight..if your rim is dented, it might sway left n right like a boat on a small wave.unless you have main stand, try turn the wheels fast enough to see whether its dented/not circular.front tires also play roles bro.sometimes good tires tend to grip e road and handling becomes stiff.

Rim wont dent so easily one.

I was told by shops before that my rims dented but after much trouble checking thru. Its actually the fork bent. But i think for your case should be other problems. Do not rely too much on Shops. Try to understand your bike more and

you will be able to figure out problems easily in future.

Unless you have a lot to spare, then go to shops. Trust yourself cos the bike is yours not the shop's. Take care and ride safe.

If you stay hougang area, I can help you see if I can help. PM me.

Ride safe man.
