Wave riders, the adjustable racing footrest for wave will arrive in Singapore on 2nd September. This is just a sample shipment. only sending 5 each for Wave 125, Sonic, X1 and Nsr. For each bike models the colours available are; 2 chrome, 2 black and 1 titanium. Looking at the picture you will notice that the footpedal is made from rubber. Please note that it has been improved and those for Singapore has been changed to alloy.Manufactured with alumminium grade close to T6 billet. SBF people get first chance to own this product at a promotional price. Dont forget, only 5 for each kind of bike.

Try my wave adjustable footrest arriving in Singapore tomorrow. Special price at $190 self collect in Bedok. Colours are Chrome, black and bronze. Made from aluminium close to T6 so dont bend easy. Also got 7 different adjusment levels.

Hi fellow wavers , I have been riding wave for nearly a year and have changed the footrest for two times , but I always have this problem of changing gears and it seems that whenever I try to kick up my gear the lever will get lossened aft some time . :cry: Anyone of u oso have same problem ,pls advice

The thing with racing footrests is that the resulting footrest itself is made up of a lot of parts (e.g lever , footrest , bracket ) . So as a result to movement , these parts tend to loosen up through time . The best thing to do in this situation is to unmount the racing footrest and then tightening up all the parts whichever neccesary . However the racing footrest that is ideal to me for cubs are "POP" and "Racing Boy" racing footrests the reason being that for most of the bikers who choose any of these two to be fitted onto their kups , there is no need for any drilling of the body frame of the bike . While the "Yoshimura" racing footrests that i've seen on kups had their bikes' frame drilled (and some even weld) to hold the footrest . Just for everybody's info , these aftermarket footrests are illegal actually (cannot pass inspection but close one eye) and will dent if you happen to meet an accident . Don't think the probability of the stock footrest denting is high . So the best is afterall the stock footrest . But , you judge by yourself . Just my 2 cents .

drilling is not done to main frame.

not too sure abt 125z.

but for x-1, they drill a hole directly into e mainstand screw.

cos 1 of e foot rest nut needs to be fix there!

 

DON, for POP is RM250 .

but e material itself is onli abit stronger than yoshi onli, & it cost RM70 more than yoshi. if u're looking for material more than price, meaning if u're willing to pay abit more for a betta rearset for x-1, PM mi.

actually i reserved a set of yoshi frm my friend already

juz waiting for the stock to come then go JB fix up :cheeky:

tink if the rear brake really become too weak...then need to change front brakehose to steel braided to makeup for the rear braking effect loss :giddy:
