squinting sound when braking is due to...?

Ah yeah i also wanted to ask dis my bike brand new summore sounds like metal rubbing sound like *shk shk shk shk shk shk* even when i move off i never break oso can hear sometimes have sometimes dont have.....

i also got this prob before, but after i change a new brake disc n pad, then din hear e sound an more..i guess might b disc or pad.

The thing is my bike is so brand new, about 1mth old only and the sound only comes from front brakes rear brake nothing, now i dun dare use front i just use lots of rear brakes.

mine is when breaking den got the sound but i already used to it le

if bike is old, chances of rotors warp is there. if rotors warp, the pads will rub against the rotors when the wheel rotates.

 

if the bike is new, might b the accumulation of brake dust. got go motorshop, use the compressed air to blow the dust away.

its actually the brake pad. most brake pads are made of crushed, little pieces of metal, glued together by a special glue. due to inconsistent sizes of the metal pieces, some of them are really big chunks which produces tht sound when metal rubs against metal. nothing wecan do about it.

 

do check on the thickness of ur brake pads, sometimes its due to use finish already but thts gng to be veri thin & most of the time, the sound comes b4 it reaches tht stage. u can us air gun to blow away the brake dust but its tempsolution, will return soon
