that makes the difference between day and night when you are on HIDs.

Had seen someone with the HID setup before. Just awesome..... But I don't want to risk getting caught and make donations.

Chiap Lee... The one opposite LAB along Jalan Berseh. Wore this pair lasted me 5 years. Very comfortable but due to the height looking for a pair of socks will have a little constrain. But overall :thumb: :thumb: highly recommended.

thks

Hi folks, will getting my '07 Bol d'or(carb. model) sometime this wk.

Been reading alot thru the S4's forum, but still have some queries, hopefully I can hv some help of answers frm you guys/gals.

I'm looking around for OEM mainstand, but frm the market response, it seems that it is OOP frm Honda Japan... :faint:

Anyone still knows where I can find 1?

Also, thinking of changing to Moriwaki GP SS pipe(did I spell the description correctly?), any feedbacks?(i.e. performance & mounting of side panniners)

As I'll be mounting either my Wingrack or maybe break my piggybank(again) for a set of SW Motech moutings, dont wish the stock exhaust to be in the way..

Roughly hw much it'll set me back?

Lastly, to tt6389, you work @ Tuas/live @ Jurong area? Always see you ride thru Jalan Boon Lay on evenings when Im carrying my daughter standing @ the balcony... :D

Original way to go. Boon Siew, FJT, Chong AIK or your friendly bike shop. Insist on the original mainstand.

Givi agent does not have ready the wingrack to be mounted directly. If want they can order and airfreight in for you and break your piggybank for sure. Furthermore they will strongly discourage you to have it. I got the rack and customise the bracket.

An example of wingrack can be found here:

Boxes & Storages

Nice examples

Problem with mounting the wingracks, SW Motech or H&B your original exhaust will get in the way. You right side will be mounted high and if you have a pillion it will be an issue also. Best if you can go and customise the bracket to your need. You need to lower the exhaust also to solve this problem.

Special thanks to biting_point & Advrider.

For everyone's info, here's what I found out.

While discussing the deal for my new bike, the dealer, upon my request, contacted every possible link for the original(OEM) mainstand. But sadly, to no avail.

The reply from distributor, BS, is that, unless an order of 1000pcs is met, then, they'll contact Honda JPN to manufacture & bring in.

Funny thing that I cant understand is that, since there's a demand for this part, why do they stop manufacture or bringing in more beforehand?

*(Hear say that when new batches of S4 arrives SGP, it comes with the OEM mainstand, just that BS dismounts them & sells it seperately??)

Finally, after relentless queries, the dealer, who checked with their management, told me, it'll cost me $450 for the OEM stand(somehow, someway)...

Airfreight-ed in? Nt sure though.

Personally call those above mentioned shops, & checked that none are having it, been told it is already out of stock ½ a year ago...

Hmm... Unless I can find anyone who has links in JPN, guess it'll be quite though... Nonetheless, I'll leave no stone unturned... ;)

Just got this:

biting_point; the shop you reccommend me, only has the compatible frm MW de...

Advrider: Re: Wingracks.

I have them, but I wont bring to agent to mount, but to their ex-agent as they may have the mountings I wanted..

I understand the exhaust will be in the way, hence, am looking @ the Moriwaki GP shorty... Heck, need all the box space I have...

Sw Motech is another option, as I wont need the bulky & unsightly mounts for the rack, only thing to bother is whether CB1300's mounting suits CB400's.. :faint:

Hi Guys,

Just collect my used Boldor from ASPhoon yesterday. Like the bike. Very smooth.

Got it at a good price after trade in my Ver S, I guess. Colour red and white. Feb 2007 reg, mileage 3500km. Funny right, mileage so low. But check through the bike, no signs of accident. Nice number plate too,

FP33**.

Wonder if the previous rider is here...

Will post pics on of these days.

But from rpm 1 t 3 feels like lagging but from 4 onwards the power kicks in. Love that...

Btw, whats your fuel consumption like?

I got this problem. When I drag from 1 to 3 rpm, very sluggish. You all got this problem? Feels like coughing...

Try changing gear between 3000-4000 when the engine is cold. But once warmed up 5000-6000 rpm. You feel the difference. Fuel consumption wise no difference. It's works ok for me.:thumb:

FC is 18km/liter only.

u mean drag 1 to 3k rpm from stationary at first gear? I think its good leh, better than other smaller bikes in terms of pickup. I think u hv to compare with other S4 or ask another S4 rider to test yr bike to see the difference.
