Anyone interested in slow ride to north Thailand?

 

13-21 feb. Rendevous with encik on 18 on the way back.

slow is how slow ... north is how north .......

100km/h to changmai. I say le I must do:)

total distance from GP to changmai ....2500km ++

 

you need to travel 800km ++ for 3 days to reach changmai ...

 

traveling at 100km avg out will be abt 80km/h .....

 

10 hours of ridding + stop + makan will be abt 13 hours of ridding

 

and you have 3 days at changmai ...... timing is good

 

but only if you are able to ride 3 continues long hours days to go and back

In Thai further than Hatyai, the road often is good-bad-worst-better-unknown-chicken-dog-goat etc... so ride slowly is safer, can see more things too... so 100-120kmh in thai shld be fine...

 

Ride slow... still will reach... better than never try and ride... :thumb: cos I saw some other big big bike... the furthest they go is like Malaysia... :sian:

it can be fun but it oso can be tough ..... ridding 3 continue long hour day

is not everyone oso can do .... butt will pain like hell if you are not use to it

worst part is coming back ..... is like forever and ever and ever and ever .....

 

unless you are talking abt endurance ride .... or you got lots of leave

hmm... for him 13-21 feb... 9 days... if one day 10 hrs... still can do it one... if not, then U-turn back lor...

if he going alone off cos can ...... like you say the most U-turn only

 

but if going wit others .. than if the he can but other can not

 

and half way U-turn .. he will be very sain ..... or the other way round too
