THREE votes.... and one vote, is an endorsement by retired ex-organiser.

Since EX-ex-organiser now driving support vehicle and don want to be involved, unless u have "thrown" your bike onto the road, it looks like Mr. SOUNDLESS will be the next noisy man.

This year i have a target to meet. I can`t commit to full time touring.

After all .... You need to have the passion only than will you be one not for flame or for gain

Looks like the group is going to become an undercover-ride group of friends.

 

End of the day.... the 1DTO will have some newbies come in and they will inevitably end up displaying the passion in one form or another and "taking-over" the entire thread, OR the thread will just naturally "die-off" cos all the regular members have gone "under-cover".

 

Perhaps it would be better that all folks just continue as it was....

 

Afterall... sad as it may be, that 1DTO had lost a young member in a regrettable accident.

It does not mean that by going "under-cover", it will prove anything at all.

In fact... other members looking in from "outside" may get the impression, that something is being "hidden" and as such, the need to "hide-away" has been chosen.

 

All has been explained and air should be clear, sad and painful the loss may be.... lets just move on.

I do have target every year...... This is how i motivate myself to work hard.

 

But for sure this year target is a little hard to achieve. But i won`t give up.

 

Don`t worry...... I will still go for trips.... as 1 of my target is to reach thailand with a bigger CC bike......

There is no such person who can do everything that pleases everyone. Its always easy to criticise others, not so easy to criticise ourselves. Yours truly also.

But we live and ride to our own ability, based on our own decisions, not based on anyone's perception.

 

Well, well, if anyone wants to organise a trip in this 1DTO thread, all are welcomed, as before.

This is just another thread in this free forum to gather like-minded riders who likes to go touring, to get out of this suffocating concrete jungle, to see things long gone here, for cheap and nice food, to ride with fellow riders...etc
