I think its just that the valve open deeper into the engine thats all...

vtec (on cars) is varying between 2 cam profiles... the low lift cams for good low end performance, whereas the VTEC on mode which is high lift cam mode, it will let the intake valve take in more air so that more power can be obtained. in other words, its like waht vidak vaguely described as 'opening deeper into the cylinders'

for hyper vtec, on our super4s i am not too sure how it does work actually, but i remember i think its from a transition of normal 2 valve per cylinder to 4 valve.

vtec on = all valves working.

 

not too sure because its categorized as HYPER vtec not Vtec.

is abt open bgiger and open smaller ...

smalller for better move off .. bigger for better high end ..

hyper and v-tec work the same ... low end low valve .. smaller open

high end high valve for better high end ....

 

v-tec open small as in hyper open small for low end

open big as in hyper big for better high end ....

 

v-tec or hyper ... work in as

 

low end for faster pick up ..

and to high end for better power ....

 

non v-tec ... set at low end dun have high end

where set at high end dun have low end ....
