so is it meaning to say that e fines are, rider-$50, pillion - $30? but in e 1st place y do they need to summon e pillion for using tinted visor eh??

maybe they scared the pillon cannot see where their rider was n scared the pillon cannot see clearly n other riders might get distracted by their tinted visors:cheeky:

hi guys

any one done the above before?

was looking to tint my visor (legally) with a tinted film, just like the one that goes on the car glass panels

just wondering if there is a shop that does this service

let me know

thanks

To answer your question, a product like this is the best option:

http://www.inter-bike.co.uk/inter-bikeshop/default.asp?numperpage=1&images=on&display=full&categoryid=23&searchstr=7216&itemname=Racing%20Optics%20Laminated%20Tear-Offs

Visor Tear-Offs / Tear-Aways.

Tints your visor to whatever shade or color available and easy to remove when a TP is spotted nearby.

Used in MotoGP & SBK for ensure visor is clear in dusty / wet conditions.

The extra advantage is that it also protects your visor from bugs, sand and small pebbles and prevents scratches.

anyone knows the price range of the visor films?

Posted

Kind of pointless.

When the sky become overcast, raining or at night, the visor will be too dark.

Open the visor when raining bcos of a dark visor is quite silly right....

Sunglasses is a better option.

the best is to get a helmet with 2 visors, the nolan 103 for instance has a sun visor right behind the clear one, so if puller over lift it off and you only see the clear visor

Yap Nolan has several models that provide this feasibility. Not sure if they are PSB approved or not.....o_O

oh.. because i heard of one flip up helmet with a built in sunglasses.. damn cool =D

Nope, Nolan's helmets are not PSB approved but have ECE sticker, which is a world standard of safety.

People like me with short-sightedness how?

Cannot tint visor, wear shades have to wear contacts so troublesome.

Bought my Oakley sunglasses months ago but until now only used it twice because of the trouble of wearing contacts. :(
