The years thunder by.

The drams of youth grow dim where they lie caked in dust on the shelves of patience.

Before we know it, the tomb is sealed.

Where, then, lies the answer?

In choice. Which shall it be: bankruptcy of purse or bankruptcy of life?

Still prefer white, the only colour that can scare people. Many drivers started to put on their seat belts when they "spotted" me approaching or people dash out of hawker centre when I parked illegally beside them.

Kekeke. quite fun.

Hey Cyclop, this could be the cause of the pertol smell coming out of the exhaust (Taken from Adventure workshops):

What is the SAS system? The Secondary Air System (SAS). This system consists of a Vacuum Valve, and reed valves that allow filtered air to be injected into the exhaust ports on the head. The theory is that is will cause un-spent gasses to burn, resulting in fewer emissions.

The reason why this should be considered for removal is that while it causes fuel to burnt, unfortunately, by definition it also causes a lean condition in the exhaust, and makes the bike pop on deceleration (which I hate). It is also just more crap to malfunction on you while you are out adventuring (one of the fittings on the SAS valve attached to the rear of the air-box is very small, and very delicate and prone to break). Click on the picture to view a larger image.

Hey, Cloudrider, while I was searching for SAS system info, you posted. Thanks.

All the new Vespa is fitted with SAS, from the description, it is the same function as the one fitted on the Mystic, understand it is for envoirnment protection. It has been disabled.

If Mystic is fitted with SAS, then it is not too difficult to disable, just re-direct/dismentle the fuel hose inside the air filter or if you want to reduce additional SAS wt, dismentle all the hoses and re-direct the fuel hose from fuel pump to the carb.

:goodluck:

P.S. : Hope you don't mind I hijack your SAS info to post it on the Scooter thread. Thanks.
