Anyone diy remove n respray exhaust header before?

have anyone tried to remove and resray the entire exhaust header before? is it time consuming? i intend to do it cos there's some slight rust on it.

suggest u go to bike shop and they will send for high temperature spray for u're header...it's better and last longer.

i don't chrome ur header then u no need always keep painting ur header..........

the problem is that most bike shops simply buy those high temp spray u get fr LAB to do it. it's the dismantlin that's tough.

The dismantling was quite easy...but after the spraying and all that. The fixing back part...its a bit tedious...

bro, did u use the original tools? i know the outer 2 on the left and right are easier to dismantle, it's the two header in the centre that's tough to dismantle. i intend to do it on tue.

Yupe...exactly...original tools. Take out the left and right 1st...den slowly on the center. Take ur time...patience is the key.
