Pyramid Plastics don't have any compatible ones for our CB400. Checked with BikeAddons in this forum already. But looking at the pics in the webby, the CBF 500/600/1000 might fit. Maybe you can give a fit check and update us. I'm keen in getting it too.

I'm waiting for a reply from amc. If they take too long I'll order the CBF 500/600/1000 fenda extenda and will let you know how I go with it on the bike. I think this will help the exhaust headers and that region of the bike stay that much cleaner.

If so you should go to HEL Perf. to custom your hoses. That would be the best to go for.

Thanks for that Fazli, I'll have a word to my mechanic and see what he suggests and take it from there.

I put on a set of 41mm gilles tooling clipons on my bike and have just purchased these handlebar grips for it

http://img.auctiva.com/imgdata/1/1/7/7/4/9/9/webimg/347320538_o.jpg

Now I am after some bar ends and was thinking of getting these longer gilles tooling ones in black

http://www.mmpc.net.au/Images/Gilles/handlebar/1-LG_400x300.jpg

Do you guys have any recommendations on other bar ends that would be better?

I bought the grips for AUD 29 + 8 for postage. I've asked them how much it is for postage to Singapore.

Those bar ends look good. Our bars will be Size C won't they?

Thanks for asking them. For our stock bars we will be using the Honda OEM bar end sliders. Notice the tabs on the ends inserted into the bars...

But since you're using Clip-Ons, the one I posted earlier would be the ones you should be using...

I will get the ones you posted earlier. I will measure them up but will probably be size C would you agree?

I finally managed to take the bike for a few spins after putting on the clipons and uploaded some pics.

First impressions, with the stock handlebar it feels like the rider is on the bike and sitting fairly upright with not as much feedback from front. With clipons the rider feels more at one with the bike in a typical forward leaning semi sports stance with good feedback from front.

Due to lowering and not going up all the stock cables were used and no modifications were required though mechanic suggested we perhaps go for braided brake lines down the track.

I was after a sporty riding position. Due to my height the stock handlebars felt they were too close to me and made me sit fairly upright like on a scooter but not as bad so I am happy with the end result.

I put on a set of mirrors I got from ebay but didn't like the rear view vision so put the stock ones back on.

As this is a daily ridden street bike we opted to put the clipons on top of the fork next to the triple clamp otherwise we were going to put them below. Have to thank Fazli, khao and Kelvin (Unique Motorsports) for their constructive feedback in pointing me along the way.

Negatives:

Feels like I'm learning to ride all over again.

Slow speed manoeuvring is a bit difficult but will get used to it.

Regardless of what else they may be for others (such as back pain, discomfort etc) I wanted this riding position and have no complaints so far but time will tell what the future will hold. Sometimes you need to make sacrifices to get what you want.

So with a simple mod we went from this

By adjusting a screw we could end up with anywhere between these and more

May look in to a set of nice cnc bar end mirrors like these

Maybe some levers too and need bar ends of some sort too.

I got them from a local supplier in Australia but you can order them online from these guys. Bar + shipping should work out to be around SGD200.

Bro Resmen, the pic you took earlier of the side mirror and lever beri nice!

That was a pic I copied from the internet bro MSDS but you can buy the copy mirror for cheap from ebay (original mirror is called rizoma reverse retro but costs too much)

http://cgi.ebay.com/CBF600-CB600F-CB-1000R-1300-900-CNC-BAR-END-MIRRORS-/300502511237?pt=AU_Motorcycle_Parts_Accessories&hash=item45f7586e85

The levers are asv and I will definitely be getting them on my next bike.

If interested there are models that fit on our bike.

Difference between C/5 and F3 is as follows-

C/5 is CNC Machined from 6061 billet aluminum, shot peened before anodize to create a matte finish and has a 5 year guarantee.

F3 Series is forged from 2014 Aluminum and then polished before anodize for a gloss finish and has a 3 year guarantee.

Here are the part numbers for your bike:

C/5 Series: Brake BRC541 & Clutch: CRC510

F3 Series: Brake BRF341 & Clutch: CRF310

I think it's because of the technology change to EFI thus re-naming it Revo.

Vtec Spec series are referred to as carb models of S4 liaozz

How come our bike not called Spec 4 huh? Not bad mah... My wife ask me I tell her Revo and she goes like... Huh! Revlon! *Sianz*

Its a Revoloution for the CB400 from carb to EFI therefore its Revo. Afraid there will be no more new production cos the Revo is not doing well in the market...
