if u reffering to popping sound when u close throttle, its normal bro.. Louder if u take out silencer...Can install back off plates to minimise it.. But i like it, soundmore garang...

bros, one of my fren his s4 version R was stolen under his eyes @ malaysia. the thief manage to easily start the engine without the keys and ride off.

i wanna ask revo gt the HISS system, is it possible for the thief to start the revo engine without the keys?

he park in broad daylight jus outside a shop house door. the distance is like only 6metre between him n e bike.

care to share what problems u encountered?

My bike rpm keep jumping... Engine can sudden stall, plus travelling mid way can sudden lose power and then normal back...

now i jus keep on off bike until the engine check light is not on... Actually i check online... the symptoms seems to be of the TPS... but i am not so certain yet.

Revo got HISS... no way the thief can start... one bike heard should be max 4 keys only....

Cuz my fren was back facing the bike. He only realise it when e bike engine started. Bt its too late when he turn back and see.

hey guys, i encounter a problem. there is some coolant of fuel have been dripping from my right hand side of the 3 tubes. i have no idea why. it always occur during the afternoon. i went to shop he say either my coolant or my fuel overflow but my fuel was once full and now half. it occur 2 times already. shop say it is nothing. but kinda kan chiong about it. any advice will be much appreciated. thank you in advance

is ur bike new from the shop? if the problem is affecting you, go for tuning.

btw we nv seen or heard ur exhaust before so it's hard for us to comment much.

without silencer sounds quite awesome thou...

pls dun remove it, unless u are prepared to pay the fine

Those are overflow tubes. They are the purpose of allowing overflowed liquids to come out which is normal.

Might be condensed vapor due to the hot weather etc.....

if huge quatity of liquid coming out, it's a problem then alright.

The three rubber pipes are for:

1) Water drain hole at fuel cap area. The fuel cap itself ( about 1.5 inch diametre with rubber gasket) seals the tank itself so water cannot get in to foul up the fuel. However, there are gaps around the fuel cap assembly and key hole which allows rain water to seep through. If you open your fuel cap you will note that there is a hole for the water to drain off. One of the tubes connects to this.

2) Coolant reservoir overflow. This is self-explanatory.

3) Fuel breather pipe. This is connected to a valve under the fuel tank and it's purpose is to balance the air pressure in the fuel tank as petrol is sucked out by the fuel pump.

 

So, if you see some liquid flowing from the pipes it's easy to eliminate what is the source. Touch the liquid and smell it. What does it smell like? Next, check the coolant reservoir. Is the level too high?

If it smells like water and when you notice the liquid flowing was it raining earlier while your bike was parked?

Unless you have a PC5/Bazzaz or some other fuel map tuning add-on installed, I'm not sure how you would be able to "tune" the Revo. The only thing I can think off is for Boon Siew (or another bike shop which has the Honda ECU diagnostic test kit) to re-set the ECU to factory settings.

 

As for your backfiring, the O2 sensor may be faulty causing the ECU to run your bike at a rich fuel/air ratio. I don't think you would need to service the throttle body at all.

Hey bro ramsnake. It usually happen after a heavy rain and while i am riding in the afternoon. I didnt check it because i was too stunned already. But i have a big feeling it is fuel because the smell of fuel was strong for the both times that i encounter. Should i be to worried about this? Never encounter this situation for the past 3 yrs riding my revo and it happen 2 times within 2 weeks.
