I suspect it could be some sensor problem. Anyway, as RAMSNAKE said, send it to Boon Siew since it's still under guarantee and do post the eventual verdict to its cause(s) here for the benefit of all REVORIANS.

Yes, it could be just a simple sensor fault. Which sensor?

I think this is a good example to share with everyone here the thinking process behind troubleshooting rather than spoon feeding the answers, so here is the first question (or 2) we should ask ourselves with regards to @bustop's issue:

- The problem is long warm up time.

- Question: Why does the bike need to warm up?

- Question: How does the bike warm itself up? I.e. what part is activated to warm up and not activated after it is warmed up?

Anyone can help me?...its about my speedometer..when rain or wash bike, water tend to go inside my speedometer..after checking from where it go into my speedometer,i found out that it goes through the small buttons..how do i rectify tis?

Spray silicone lubricant (I like the swiss Motorex lube) into the gap to saturate it with silicone/oil. This will not totally seal the gap but would minimise amount of water going in.

I am pleased to invite all Revorians to join me in this 2days/1night ride up North for a worthy charitable cause. :)

In brief, the trip is on 15 September.

We will ride to KL for breakfast and rendezvous with Malaysian bikers. After breakfast, all bikers will ride in convoy and escorted by Malaysian Police to Ipoh. At Ipoh Parade shopping centre, we will help distribute info booklets on breast cancer to raise awareness of the disease and also listen to the public talks being presented. Bikers convoy will then head back to the Ancasa Hotel & Spa for the Charity Hi-tea.

For more info, do visit the official Ride page on Facebook.

There will be an official launch for SG bikers on Thursday, 23 Aug at 8:30pm. I hope to see Revorians support this Ride. Even if you can't join the Ride, do drop by anyway. It's a good chance for us to catch up n chit chat since I missed the last meet up session.

Click here for details on the Launch.

See you all on Thursday! :thumb::cool:

Dear S4 riders who rides REVO,

I am contemplating between getting a new REVO or a 2nd hand spec 3.

I have read through the forum and found that there are numerous issues like water ingress into TPS, burnt electrical coil (aka alternator) and that double sweep low battery syndrome on the REVO.

Can any kind souls advice if these problems still exits in the newer batches of REVO?

I am an ex spec 2 rider and have never experience issues like that last time.

I understand that the REVO being FI now draws more current than the caberator versions but being a Honda, I don't really find it acceptable.

Especially the new REVO cost 18K plus OTR these days.

Please PM if not convenient to post here...Cheers to all in advance.

Bros, which is better to pump fuel? The 2nd link or the woodland causeway there?

Where u stay in sg? If purely just to pump petrol n u turn back i would suggest woodlands. But make sure to go at a timing but custom no jam.

1) no need cashcard or touchngo

2) petrol station right next to jb custom.

3) u turn also just right after shell petrol station

4) frankly speaking i nv go by 2nd link before
