Hi BROs! My fc getting better =D , 200km waiting for ''disco'' light.

240 shd'nt be any problem this round. (X fingers, still looking for improvement)

Btw, wads to change on first 1000km , just EO or Oil filter as well?

Secondly, not sure if my bike shop have MAXIMA EO, anywhere to recommend on getting reasonable price MAXIMA?

 

Recently get a set of alarm, anyone tried DIY on yr revo already? Or any recommendation XD

Congrats for ur fc! For maxima eo, can try bike workz at kaki bukit. I always go there do my bike. Tdy just went down to change eo at 1000km. Using Castrol semi. $13 a bottle. U can get them to install ur alarm system for u also.

u can change to fully syn EO, oil filter must change, then can change every 3 oil change after tat

so u mean to say ur spec 3 can hit 380-390 before reserve? that;s very good

as i said.. spec3 can hit 300 before reserve...

 

 

how come my spec 3 last time can hit 380~390??

anyway i was wondering how come the revo fc has dropped so much.

FBC also got nice numbers, if lucky can get 8555, 8800, 8111, 8999 etc

 

yea, its truly awesome bike, pick up faster than spec 3

 

yeap, still have but need to scout for them

Got my EO changed and alarm installed @ MW.

 

Some pointers to ''CONSIDER'' for fellow Revoss pals(running in).

 

Was recomended to use mineral oil (for my first 1000km) by a friendly GSR6 bro.(In fact first 500KM shd have done so =='')

Will remain mineral oil (500-800KM per change), after third EO changed ,den convert to fully synthetic with new oil filter.

 

Reason: During running-in stage , engine will have '' particles ''.

If str8 changed to fully syn EO , may have cause harm to the new engine.

Mineral oil is very thick and sticky, those particles will not cut our engine.

As for oil filter, not worth to change on 1st 1k.

 

Personally felt much contridiction from each advice seeked.

Anw, mineral is already flowing in my engine.So no point for further clarification in my stands.

 

Therefore for fellow buddies who are considering on EO change during run in, can have your doubts sorted first =D

 

As for my 2-way alarm (bought via MO), the MW mechanic had did a gd job.

 

There's lots of trustworthy advises that alarm installation is perfectly fine for Revo, h/w there's also ''myth'' that it will cause implication.

 

Seeing is beliving , mine kiking alive now =D

(but do take note that auto engine crank and bypassing HISS is not advisable)

- Similar to vtec 3

- Similar to vtec 3, i guess so?

- Can be done too rite? depends on individual motortiam?

HEADLIGHT BULB:

- May change to HID?? not sure tho.

- Change to Philips brand type?

- OSRAM type

 

HORN:

- Stebel Magnum Electric Horn

 

BELLYPAN:

- Similar to vtec 3

 

UNDERTRAY: ( similar to bigger bikes as link, once install, will need to remove No. plate bracket and the rear mudguard )

running-in engine or breaking-in engine, is to allow any moving parts in a new bike to seat-in or wear-out properly...

 

use of mineral base oil is prefered as to allow the parts to seat-in. all new bikes should be equipt with run-in filters which are design to catch smaller particles during running-in, which is adviseable to change during the first servicing.

 

btw, which GSR600 bro you saw???(all of us are friendly) :D

yeap i already did..

now awaiting to send in my accident statement, police report MC and all the stuff needed..

 

hopefully can get the insurance claim...

my tank dented, radiator dented and leaking tailboard broken and taillaight too

handle bar dented to the max
