Hi all, I'm ex spec 3 rider now currently riding GSR400K6. Looking at so many posts about the revo's fuel consumption is quite high for a PGM-FI bike. FYI my GSR400 is also PGM-FI, I can do 350km till reserve and 400km till dry, my idling is exactly 1000rpm. My previous spec 3 can do 380km till reserve and 420km till dry due to the fact that GSR400 has slightly smaller tank of 16.5l compare to 18l of spec 3.

With regards as above, imo, different bikes have different kind of spec and configuration as u mention its carb model, its first for honda to have fi for super4, there is bound to have some imperfects, base on my experience,u calculate the mileage by dividing the amount of litre by the milage to know, factoring in the style ur riding, if i ride like no body business not caring my licence, its sure to be very fuel comsuming, if i ride like old uncle, sure i can get at least 350, tested, take in the fact that all parts is still new and not smooth yet, it takes a while to get the parts to be very season, say 5,000 km to 10,000 range, its still too early to make any judgement.. the bike is still very young, wait till its 1 years old or at least 20k on the mileage, then we shall know how is the fc on the bike. i know gsr is good spec, its jus that different people got different taste, eg i like slightly plum girls, where as my friends like skinny girls.. lol :slapforehead: i used to ride spec 2, after years fo riding cls2, i downgraded back to super 4.. cheers, jus my 8 cents worth, no offence..

even if GSR can attain better FC, so? GSR is telling us to Go Support Revo. that already means GSR cannot make it. with a 400cc engine that can outstrip a litre bike anytime, with slightly higher FC but getting more torque n power, its worth it. gsr already lose hands down to revo. thats a fact.

Guys, dun argue, its unhealthy for fellow bikers, IMO, 400cc its still 400cc, with even tons of mod.. thats y people will up grade to liter bike.. each bike is unique, that y there is different model and brand.. if its all the same then y is there s many model, brand, and cc.. no bike suck big time, its jus different.. and different people got different taste.. its not nice to comment on other bike saying it suck, how it feels if it is done to us, saying revo suck big time, useless bike, why buy.. let me tell u, i fell upset upon hearing this being said. y? we treat our bike like our babies, wife, girlfriend, beloved.. we make a comparison, honda 1000rr is well known for its handling, where as gsxr 1000 is known for its raw power, some people like its power so hence gsxr 1000 is bought, where as some like handling bike (cbr1000rr), as they believe power is nothing without good control, i am not saying gsxr is no good, it handles well, jus that cbr 1000rr is slightly better, but loses out slightly on the power side.

OTR is close to 14k with insurance. Lotsa places already carry revo. It's quite a popular bike now. The difference is e exhuast is bigger n chrome, engine is silver instead of black, meter also got state revo.
