All gear...depending on situational... once i open vtec at gear 6 till 150km/h for nearly 10mins.... rpm 8 0r 9 if i'm not wrong... the rest of the time.... conservative riding.....

the difference for power abuser and revtec is only pa gives better horsepower but in expense of reducing engine braking... ifelt engine braking is crucial.. so might as well i take revtec....

thx for all the info guys =)

kamal - so ur meanning is power abuser give more horsepower and Revtec give better engine brakes? or u mean after installing power abuser the engine brakes will be lesser?

PS. me too noob haha~

Anyway, Revtec wont increase the engine braking....as per normal only...

engine braking feeling is reduced but the pulling force is still there, just tat will not feel the heavy pulling force only.

Thanks. That definately answer my query. I was reading about optimal braking force article earlier on. One of the website was saying that ABS still loose to optimal braking. Of course this one I agree.

But executing optimal breaking effectively and in time is another question all together.

what I was confused earlier was if ABS take alonger distance to stop compare to non abs bike. Buy now u have answer my question.

SO I believe it's safe to say that ABS stops like any normal brakes. However before the wheel is looking or closing to locking. The ABS actually "disconnects" the brakes and "connects" again. closing to 20 times in 1 sec. This prevent the wheel from looking WHICH MAY cause the rider to skid.

In layman ABS is like any other brakes. The only diff is that it won't wheel lock. regardless How you jam the brakes.

Am I getting it correct?

Also I have another question. ABS brakes. IS the maintanence for the brake system higher? IS the brakes harder to bleed?

I read BIKE magazine from UK.. they comes to theory that a "normal" driver will able to brake like ABS in 6th attempts for normal road condition.. they measure it by distance. eg.. with ABS, it brake 2 meter at this speed, but normal rider without ABS brake without 6 meters.. this rider need to do a 6 times attempt b4 he can MASTER the skill of braking like ABS in a NON-ABS bike...

here is like human controlled braking technique vs computer braking..

in short, we will NOT have 6 attempts in emergency braking!!

i personally think if I can get an ABS enabled bike, although it may be more costly... if it's about our safety.. :)
