no offense but i dont actually think its easier to pass when it rains. it affects your mood in some way or another, or freaks you out, making you think that the narrow plank will be slippery, e-brake etc. or at least this is how it dampens me cos i become kanjiong spider when it rains lol. maybe some others enjoy the wet? possible i guess.

during my recent tp, though it was raining pretty heavily, the testers didnt give chance either ): very very mean.

Good luck hor.. Just cut down all your points.. Find out as much as possible where the points could possibly come from and practice.. Dun STRESS yourself.. ENJOY THE RIDE.. Very important..

Well it depends la... If you no mood and become too apparent to the tester, obviously the tester would be more than happy to add on to your points.. Always the case, I used to hate the rain, but I discovered how blurred the vision can be for tester to see your mistakes from far and learn to take the full advantage of it... And began to love the rain...

 

It is all in the mind. If you think it is slippery then you'll tend to fall more... If it rains, I usually would footbrake harder at the plank, and if i feel like i'd fall, i'd just ride through, and dun care about the time... E brake, it is wet when training, so when it rains, just do it as per normal, less footbrake, more front brake...

 

The tester being very experienced can tell whether or not you are confident and enjoy the ride, be it rain or shine... Just learn from mistakes and pray for more luck... TP is really about your luck... Dont give up, at least dun just because it is raining..

I passed at my second try, the one i took with you all on 7th July... If you remember me... I was the one sitting next to byma smoking.. Remember anot? You both so happy got no immediate failure.. Haha.. And your guy friend tag 32 keep saying i ride very good coz checked all blind spots and when i check he also check.. Remember? Then he also pass and keep saying "YES" to you all in the results room..

 

My first was 30 pts and footed at u turn, then i go ask all the instructors why I get these points, where it possibly can come from and all.. Then didnt have time to practice, managed to get 2 RRs and 1RC, (my first attempt was on 30th June).. For some reason, my mood was all the way up on the 6th and 7th July.. I was totally enjoying myself.. Guess it was to oblivious that the tester also happy to let me pass..

i fell off the plank for the most recent tp. not pushing the blame but it was raining and i was scared shitless. lol you know, somehow, everything seems to go perfectly well during rc and sp. but when it comes to tp, the nervousness screws you up sometimes. bah, gotta practice more i guess!

Just learn to calm yourself down... For me, I will think it is just another RR, then replace the tester's face with an instructors face.. Or just think of happy things la..

 

And sometimes, doing it alone as in dun go with ppl you know helps... Because it makes you face it by yourself, instead of talking to ppl and scare each other out..

u r a lucky girl! haha. i onli went to 1 prac for all my prac tat have raining day. i dun like to wear the raincoat, its so hot! after taking off my whole shirt inside is sweat. i cant tolerate going at low speed with such a thick clothing, a shirt inside, wif a jacket and raincoat! imagine how it feel. haha.

sp is for self-practice, without any instructor, juz go anywhere u wan except going on the road. rc will have an instructor following u and telling u this and that and u gotta follow them.

gotta take it easy, calm down and dun keep worrying bout "wet floor! easy skid!" u dun do any hard-braking or sudden jerk wont have skidding problem already!

No hun.. I am getting an Aprilia RS125 and I trust those whom I've met and seen the bike more than any other. And I am in no rush.. So I am still keeping my options open but sticking to RS125 because I felt a sense of belonging when I sat on the first RS125'03, which happens to be the one i am getting. The owner called me up via another SBFer to say he's selling and want to sell to me since he saw the glow in my eyes when I sat on his bike..
