Hi andre. For RTT, you can try to go for RTPractice before you take the test if you didn't before...it's really helpful.

 

I'm tired of my shoes always getting wet...think it's time I invest in rain shoe covers already. :o

 

Too bad my passport expired years ago...make new one need $70 if I not wrong...not worth to make one just to go malaysia to buy deuter bag. :(

 

Recently rain comes and goes like nobody's business, ride safely! All those who had accidents, take care.

 

Been watching channel 8 9pm show (with you)...about a family coping with the death of a member who passed away in a bike accident. Although got the added spiritual element in the show, it really keeps me thinking that if anything happens to me, it's not just me who suffers...so I better think twice before speeding or do any reckless things on the road.:angel:

ya! mscp also very slippery. it's this STUPID alternative paint they paint onto the concrete floor to make it presentable and semi waterproof (protect concrete) that makes it all so slippery!!! :angry:

today rest ma.. den fri night is hang out with my friends de.. they NS 1 week only can bookout 1 time.. sat and sun dont have 6.01 lessons

To ride on the road, You need skills,Stamina, or even luck.

 

But to be a good rider, you have to change with your environment,and adjust yourself to its rhythm.

 

Cultivate the confidence to face the different situations. Don't let yourself to be subdued by the environment :thumb:

few days ago, i rode in the rain..then i enter the sheltered carpark in ntu and viola! the surface was so slippery that once my wet tires had contact with the surface, immediately skidded and fell. not easy to bring up a 2a bike with the surface so slippery. got a ntu staff saw me but he looked and walked pass me and into his car. haiz. hard to get ppl tp help these daes.

Just now went to pump petrol...missed my turn then go all the way to PIE!

Learned my lesson...Night riding die die must wear raincoat at all times! Was shivering at PIE all the way, can't ride faster than 70km/h, will shiver till cannot control bike! Cold till my teeth was literally vibrating and making the clicking noise. :faint:

 

Originally thought it was just a short trip, so left my gloves at home. Then I realised, I can control the bike better with my gloves! Without gloves phantom handle seems too big for my hands to grab. Guess I prefer riding with gloves on more. :cheeky:

hope you and your bike are ok bro. i also just had a fall at the entrance of AYE from buena vista. no injuries for me butmy fairing paintwork affected and also right signal light broke.

i had a similar experience as you. rode in heavy rain from pie changi all the way to PIE tuas. had a hell kind of experience but it hit hard on me the importance of raining gears.:thumb:

i remember reading the new paper in march about the article where about 3 females got into an accident. 2 riders and 1 pillion. are you refering to that?

Today see weather fine, finally made my trip down to Planet Motor.

Devastated! :(

Not because of the service(which is great...legendary ah chong! :D)...but because of my bike.

He took a test ride, then told me my piston got problem. The bike damn noisy. All along I thought the loud noise was indicator that the engine is working fine...until ah chong let me hear the sound of one phantom in his shop then I realise...I'm screwed. :faint:

 

He say change piston need $400. Don't change also can, just don't ride over 100km/h...130km/h piston sure jam. He didn't charge me for all the diagnosis.

Yup, i just went for defensive riding course ytd... and i recommend it to everyone who rides! its really a fun course and makes u understand how to control a bike much better also

Yep. Cos for NS personal, compulsary to take defensive (if you gonna ride to camp or ride in uniform)

 

Though I've not taken def riding yet .. but still, "I go green" :faint:

haha, yup, exactly like wat shunpo says... Apply with SAF enrolment form at SSDC totally no need pay money, i took it at ssdc...

 

Get free off that day somemore coz its a "official" thingie...
