Ok guys... I have juz left my wave at the shop. Collecting it on mon or tues, coz I won't in the country as I am going on short getaway in M'sia this weekend. When I return on Mon or Tues, will post a review once I collect the bike..

cant wait for ur review and pics!:thumb:

we full throttle can catch them lah but if they also full than smell smoke

wonder why I buy wave? Since spark faster

spark is faster but wave is more economical. u want fast, dun bother buying cups. Get a kr/sp/tzm instead. Modded sparks can only dream of the performance a modded kr can achieve.

Or even better, get ur 2a and go for rs250/pgm iv. Den u know what is fast... seriously, I don't know whats the mentally with going fast these days w/ 2b cubs these days. Used up thousands of moolah, can go 160/180kmh? But actual speed 130/140kmh only, which is super 4 cruising speed at 2nd link.. Tahan until when? 4 months? Den engine overhaul again? Fuel consumption... 21-25km/L? Might as well ride 125z..

hey guys saw tt some wanna make their tanks bigger?? why not try at jb?? my fren juz did it. now his tank is ~6L.. only cost less den 100 bucks

..RIDE TILL U OR UR RIDE DIE!..

The wkmanship for the singapore one is better la. Wun leak one. Last time I noe some1 operate the tank there. Will last one. But the fuel sensor will screw up abit la coz it measure by level and the tank is now bigger. Somemore anything wrong u can easily go back. Msia how to go back wen something go wrong?

msia can do lah. shd nt b a prob as dey are very pro with waves. but i will nv bring my cub there, is too dangerous. I kanna a few times by mat rempits. Lemme tell u their rxz's can chase our super 4s for short distance, so if dey decide to target ur cub u better start praying to whichever god u worship. I onli go in msia for petrol run on my s4, makan and ciggiez.

Posted

lol ya then forget abt msia la... i oso only drive in... i have never ride in with my bike b4... heard alot of bad things happen there on bikes... summore now with cub oso cant run haha!

hmmm i still waiting for the review of our bro hu went to do it at kranji there...

if the fuel meter mess up then how sia? how to guage that it is low fuel? wont it be very dangerous liddat? later u dono when the fuel run dry lolz...

any ways to solve this fuel meter thingy?

Posted

No the fuel meter will still work. The wave has a float in e tank dat determines how much fuel u hav by the fuel's level. Now dat the tank is bigger, the same amount of level hav actually more fuel. So the meter tot u have 1L of petrol left, but in actual u have 3L due to the expanded tank. U understand?

Best way to calculate is to use the odometer lor. If u pump at 5000km then pump again around 5450 lor. Ez what.

Anyway guys, recently I wuz playing ard w/ my wave. Tried pop here and there la, skali throttle too hard, lost control and bike flipped over while I wuz lying on my butt LOL. Lucky my e33 and balancerz absorb all the dmg la... no scratches or anything broken on the wave. engine of coz running good.. muahahaha wave is good2..

Posted

LOL feirce la u popping here and there nd everywhere haah!...

thanks for the advise bro... well hmmm a little troublesome leh if the fuel meter not accurate... hmmm but lets say :

as our wave fuel meter (digital) got 6 bars...

orginaly 1bar left (blinking) i go pump full is 3L zhun zhun.

after the tank expansion... 1bar left (blinking) i go pump full maybe will pump about 7L... correct?

so the low fuel light is actually at about 3L left... just example la...

lolz...

------------------------------------------------------------------

anyway i got a small problem...

after the change of tyres to battalax bt39 90/80 and 80/90... my mainstand when kept.. will be touching my rear wheel!!!

i dun feel very safe with this and it affects moving off a little bit... any idea how to solve this??

anyway it is the centre pc touching it... not the 2 legs... looks like this "A"

Does all Leo Vince comes with the rubber thingy when you buy from shop?

Is that the silencer?

If so, do you guys remove it?

What does racing kit for the pipe does? Is it LTA approved?

Thanks..

rubber thing is the bracket...comes as a set with the brackets bolts &nuts

silencer is removable at the end where there are 3 allen key type screw..

racing kit is a fake silencer...to replace the real silencer but looks like a real silencer....

Is the rubber thingy u referring to the buffer going around the end of the exhaust?

Removing the silencer is illegal! Don't do it, not worth it. Din the shop tell you about the details of the racing when u buy the LV?

For the 90/80 BT39 tyres, I think Squarebox can answer u on that. He is using those tyres and still with mainstand. :)

I have collected my wave with the mod done. The structure feels solid, no shaking here and there. There is a small molded area that fits the battery nicely. The battery's connecting wires are nicely laid into gaps molded for them, so no need to worry about them dangling around. You can close the seat as normal, nothing will budge out.

Cracked is correct regarding the fuel meter not reading it right. I had about 1.5L of petrol left, went back and topped up 4L of petrol from my spare jerry can. At this point of time, the meter only read at 3 bars, even tho it is holding more then the stock tank can hold. Then went and topped up another 5L from shell to the brim - making it 10L and the meter finally goes to full.

Sitting right beside me now is my former u-box. There is also the fuel filter in there too. I found it strange why he had to remove the fuel filter, but he wasn't at the shop for me to ask.

You can somewhat feel the weight when paddling backwards, normal riding however, I don't really see any significant drop in performance. Overall satisfied with it lah.

Anyway, here's the only pic I got. Sorry for the low resolution, but you can still how the tank is extended and where the battery is located.

need some advice here, just now i change my front n back brake pads, back is the horse shoe tht is, but after changing i realise my wheel cant move freely, meaning when i put at main stand and turn the wheel by hand it wont roll freely, like the brake pad is gripping the brake disc.. I want to ask u guys, is that normal after changing brake pads?, i spent $38 total for the brakes, like kena chop.. I thinking of going to other shop to change again or just go ah boy buybrake pads and nstall myself, my friend buy brake pad at ah boy cost only $7!!!!...

blurrrr.....................:thumb::gun:

Before, left 1.5L, then you top up 4L = 5.5L, then at 3 bars - is correct not? Full tank @ 10L will be 6 bars liao mah? :cheeky:

Maybe he change the fuel filter for you? To do w/o fuel filter is a no no, u don't know how much dirty gets to the engine combustion camber.

Are you talking about your front pads or rear drum brake shoes? If rear brake shoes, you need to adjust the tensioner butterfly nut to a bit loose, it may be too tight till even you didn't brake the rear, it still tends to grip.

If it is the front, it may be a case of warped disc.

so it means that it is still accurate?! yeah! as i tot so... cuz the fuel tank in the pic looks like abit squarish kind which i think they extend out to the front towards the U-box area.. and under too... tat's why the batt is at the front of the u-box position now and it is so high up! with not much protection for the connection heads... which i think if ride in the rain will cause water to come in contact with the batt and the connectors... which will rust eventually and cause some probs...

wonder if anyway to cover up the batt nicely so it will be awy from harm..

and wow if the fuel meter is quite accurate then i might just do it too! seems really shiok to have 450km per pump! lolz!

sigh will think of a way to solve the 2days without bike issue...

anyone know where can rent bike for 2 days? legally?
