The pricewise is it the same as Dunlop TT900 thailand or cheaper?

I changed my rims & tires at the same time at AGL. Price was cheaper than tt900 Thailand.

Dear Wave Riders,

I just bought a July 06 wave R looking for swapping of original rim to sport rim with top up anyone.

Or can someone recommend me a place which is cheap to install 1 set front and rear with tyres.

Can anyone advise me on the price.

Thanks Bro & Sis

Go JB it will cost u $100 total for two Dunlop TT900. If you're lazy, go Planet motor, its $50 per pcs(same brand). If you live in east side, there's this SPC with a workshop. Find Ah chuan. $50 per pcs also same brand.

Full tank 3.8 litres or so but I don't think ure gonna wait till its completely dry. U'll be filling up about 3.3-3.5litres. So ard $7. Mileage for a bad condition wave is 40km/litres. Good condition last 45-50km/litre. Correct if if I'm wrong. =)

i had the same problem as you!

1st; changed wheel bearing... after a while problem come back

2nd; changed brake pads... after a while problem come back

3rd; service the bracket of the brake... after a while problem come back

4th; finally went to a more wave-experienced shop they took my whole caliper out, bleed, took out the pistons (DAMN! so much dirt in it!) cleaned it up! AND CHANGED THE "O-RING" (or that was what the mech called it..)... after a while the problem IS SOLVED!!

Whoop dee doo!!

How much spent? Did it cause you to suffer in FC in the mean while?

hi guys!

what are the best tires available to wave in JB?

and where to get it?

thanks!

I heard of Maxxis and Shinko but I'm on Dunlop TT900 because I heard Maxxis and Shinko the grip don't last very long for its compound.

Im using Shinko Evo! good grip!

$$$?

I still prefer my Dunlop TT900 thailand. hahaha. But during rainy days, I chicken out.

Same but I just ride slower, don't need to chicken out la as long as your tyres can thread the water out

share the $$$ involved!:D

By chance I happen to meet the 1st batch wave thread starter as one friend whom I knew from outside for a few years. Didn't know he used to ride till we started chatting about bikes and friends. What a small world :thumb: He's thinking of buying a small bike again for weekends :bounce:

1) Anybody using IRC Racing Series? I just change it. My mechanic say it is better than Dunlop TT900.

2) I have also just full overhaul. What should I take note of when I just overhaul during run-in? Izzit true the bike cannot go fast? the max I hit is around 90+km/h. cant go till 100km/h.

Waverider, please advise. Thank you. =D

1. Pick up slowly and gently.

2. Speed wise try not to bring it above rpm 6 which is maybe like 80km/hr

3. Change EO often as ur parts still new.

Btw I found out a noticeable increase in mileage with Caltex 98 compared to Esso 95 and Caltex 95. I get more mileage. So those with safra card(11% off) should try out Caltex 98. It took me like 4 years to realise this. All the while I've been pumping Caltex 95.

Don't bother with Caltex 92. My wave exhibit wierd behavior with 92. Its like giving a small kid vegetable instead of candies.

Shinko Evo RM 236 Front 80/90 Rear 90/80 . Due to its medium - soft compound, the grip is good that is why the tyres dont last all the way. B)

Oooh soft compound? That's good. Didn't noe there's cheaper alternative to battlax.

Wahh everyone, I ask meetup all dont want reply. sianzxs

Sorry bro, packed schedule. So I don't think got time to meet. Even my KRR outing I don't have time to go.

Yeap, been using it for 1 month now. not really as fantastic as battlax but the grip gives rider more confident in situation like siam - ing hazard last minute and corner bcos that tyre has got groooves bro! ahah
