Bro stix, the high cam did give more power. But petrol also power.. Haha. Anyway our wave is a hardy bike. Honda as a whole is time proven n bullet proof. Anyway if u really want power n safety this is my advice.

Change ur block to big bore, change piston, change piston ring, high cam and if uve got money left then change pipe. but dont expect 40km/L

Ur oil change do every 500km. Mineral also can no need motul or wat.. Ah boy selling castrol 20-40, 5 bucks. and lastly dont use racing footrest cos back brake like sh**.

 

The japanese do things for a reason. They say silencer is bull ****.. But sg no choice.. Use good tyres, dunlop or battlax not shinko or maxxis.. Crap tyres.. Im no mech but i read alot bout bike technology..

 

Ps: i hate AGL cos i was charged 27 ringgit for oil change n spark plug. Call me dumb cos i was rushing..

Bro tell us what parts were changed in ur top overhaul.. I just spent 490RM on block, piston, high cam and engine oil spark plug.. Gonna spend 300rm on carb next month...

for now, i was charged 580 for block, piston, sth like timing belt, steering cone and another 3 more items which i nvr heard of before.(first time sending my wave for service or overhaul after 12 months, btw!)

hmmm i not quite sure, what are the things changed but from what i know. Top hual is only part overhualing the top, whereas it make sense that it should be cheaper than full overhual. Technically to me, it's expensive. It's only the top for overhual. I can't imagine the price for full overhual lol.

How much does it cost to change the conrod for Wave? Mine died on me yesterday while on the way home. It's either i scrap the bike early since only left about 8 months COE left if the repair cost is higher than the value, or rebuild the bike and renew the COE when time comes. I bought the bike in 10/2010, and it have been serving me well.

engine piak ? sounds like over haul to me. I also ride until the engine got louder and louder. I am not sure if you could only change the conrod. I overhual mine at 475.

Just want to confirm, my fuel meter doesn't show full 6 bar each time i pump full tank. Does this meant that my fuel meter is spoil?

Ya, the mechanic called me this afternoon to confirm that engine gone. Gotta change block, conrod, piston, gasket, & etc... Was quoted $450, can collect tomorrow.
