Ur spark plug change so fast? I'm now reaching 6.5k km on my stock plug....

Jetting i'm not sure how to check but i know that it can be changed...

jetting is only changed when ppl change airbox and exhaust thus, changing the jetting so that the engine will not run too rich/lean.

 

ya, actually ard 10k change spark plug also no problem. but i didnt keep track of my mileage for spark plug, so change every 2 oil change. jetting is it the needle thing found in the carb?

troublesome bro.. u have to take out ur mirrors, den ur headlight cover and den can reach for the headlight bulb.

eh bro.. the pipe has already broke.. i have changed to a new one.. so old one i left it at the shop... not sure if still can be weld.. but if u still one i can try ask the shop if its still there...

Hello all bro need your expert advice on what happen to my bike...... recently went servicing, when the mech drain out the eng oil only drip out a bit (less than half the yakurt bottle)...... Mech told me engine consume oil and need to do over haul ard $200 +........... is it true?

 

Anyone can help me? buy eng oil top up better or do an over haul? what is the price and where can i do it.......can pm me?

Bro... here's to my experience...

 

When they drain ur EO.. u were still able to ride it without any problems ryte?? There's no constant of bike jerking... If no.. tell the mech F OFF!! And tell him.. Which engine doesnt consume OIL??? Dont be cheated bro...

I change fully syn oil, the mech told me other bike put in 1ltr come out 1 ltr and mine is probably 50ml :?

50ml? are u sure? that's very less.. u gonna monitor ur engine oil level before it drys up and piston jam. actually overhaul also ok la.. its like a new engine ma.. haha..

Which engine dun consume EO? Wave consume alot lei....tell ur mech to F.O..whr got pour in 1L drain out 1L unless he drain straightaway....

U shld monitor ur EO if this persist cos might be due some problem wif ur eng/piston but if it is still within acceptable range, then it's ok. Nv let it dry cos got danger of piston jam.

I pour in 1L drain out only abt 150ml left after 4500km...depends on the quality of EO as well...

How old is ur bike already? if ur mileage is already 50000km, can consider OH la....i

My bike yr 06 mileage 30k plus........ OH how much is it? And do you have any recommended shop ? Me location YCK area, can pm me the detail?

Ur bike age same as mine ma....i last time also got this problem b4 and ask for advice in this forum but no one bother to help so I try and error until I use maxum 4 extra. So far so gd...cost abt 20-23 dependin on whr u bought it. 3 yrs bike and onli 30k+ mileage go OH? ur mech must hv thought u veggie head....blacklist and ban it....

that mech nonsense.. want your money only..

all bike consume EO.. especially 4 strokes bikes cos depend on EO unlike 2strokes got 2t..

somemore mech pour 1 litre in your wave?! crazy. wave need only 800ml. if pour more u will feel sluggish..

wave as most ppl mention .. easy to maintain.. just dont let the EO dry up.. top up as need.. change every 1.5k - 2k to be safe.. if like me do delivery i change every 2weeks.

 

no need go overhaul if engine still ok.. go for full service 1st.. see which part worn out.. if too many then better go overhaul.. anyway.. if i got money everytime i go overhaul.. hahah.. feel new engine everytime..

Just use the cheapest engine oil available and change regularly (every 1000-1500km).

The key to have a good clean running engine is not the quality of the oil.

It's the frequency of oil change.

 

Use high performance oils when the situation requires it.

Esp during high rev racing or long dist touring.

Day to day rides require the very basic in maintenance as stipulated in the owners guide.

 

End of the day, u will have a healthy running engine and lots of money saved !

Ok.. Now the question is.... Anyone did an OH? How much?? Mine is in the 72K already... Bike is extremely responsive sumtimes...

Anyone tehinks the shoei X-11 is worth it?

My parents are EXTREMELY AGAINST me buying it.

they think it is ridiculous to spnd $500+ on a helmet.

btw the money is mine.

$500 againts the protection of ur head.. Which is heavier??

I ended up buying a HJC CL-X5

If the temptation is too great, i will buy X-11 two weeks after.

btw i dont take money from my parents, i use my NS pay.
