Hi Radawi,

there are a few CDI's with different results in RPM

1)CI639 goes to 10800 RPM max

2)CI626 goes to 12500 RPM max

3)HRC race CDI goes to 14050 RPM

Mine is currently the (2) CDI and I have ordered the (3).

Waiting for it.

haha! ya.. i was a student there. just graduated n waiting to be pulled in for ns in few weeks time. ask u sth, wats the max speed u can go? mine only 120km at gear 6 but i know the bike still want to go. the only prob is that it feels like sth prevents it. the previous owner had so much prob with this bike. Jet inlet was chipped which made my first few months hell! luckily got it replaced.

BTW: I seriously need the help i can get. Even though i've removed my triangle bout 5 months ago, to b honest i'm still kinda clueless bout bikes. All the work is being done by my dad. only know the basics; change oil, fuse, changing plug, etc. my sole purpose is not to race this bike. just want to keep it at a good condition cos i cherish this bike so much

The jetting for this bike at stock is Main 138,Power 65 and Idle would be 40.This on a PHBH 28 (FD) Carburetor. This is Honda NSR 125 stock Carburetor. My Carburetor has gone through porting. The jetting had been altered and I don't remember. My top speed now is 170 on a good long stretch.OEM speed is 153km/h.

If you want more speed, get a 34mm carb.Your gear 6 would not be a barrier anymore.

Haha! Currently my bike has went another paintjob. Matt Black.. I'll post a pic of my bike soon again. I keep changing colours n its all done by can.

My current jet inlet is actually the current batch of SPs on the road. It can fit smoothly.

Thanks XJR..Talking bout the frame sliders, mine is actually not the actual thing. To be honest, its actually the stopper of a fridge's base. lol! Most of the parts on my bike are not the original parts cos its difficult to find them lately; from the tail light (tail light of current SPs on the road), windscreen of a bigger bike which being bought at $5 n altered, etc... All thanks to my dad.. he's good at DIY stuffs. oh ya, i checked at team hkl webbie u can get frame sliders at 60 plus i think but not sure if it includes workmanship.

Usually i'll go to fins parts either at Ever Succes at Lembu Road or at a workshop along Lavender St. The owner is called Ah Chu. my dad introduce me to him which is being introduce by my late grandad. So 3 generations under one workshop haha! his shop seems super old but u can get things at a super bargain price. the parts are old stocks but has not been used before.

How much can i get for the 34mm carb? i notice on my airbox cover the previous owner drilled holes on it. didnt get what my dad explained bout the theory..

I've got hold of the alains manual on the net recently n very useful for my reading. i'm not sure if my bike is de-restricted but saw the pics on the nsr125.com on the exhaust n the intake restrictor. so hope one of these days i'll "explore"..

sorry ah guys just wanna add on sth,

i think my bike cant run cos suspect either the prob lies on the RC valve or the carb. Haha! Sorry if i type alot.. its just that i feel excited knowing there's ppl out there still owning rare bikes n theres many unanswered questions in me regarding it. haha! Thanks mageswaran n XJRredbull!!:thumb:
