Yishun Dam

Date : 14 November 05 (Monday)

Time : 2000 hrs

Meeting Place : Somewhere in Yishun?

Purpose : Gather at yishun dam to tok kok sing song but cannot play mahjong~

u riding fazer leh... but not sure leh.. have to ask organiser... but i think shld be no problem bah... cos not much pple as there are too few F4i riders in this forum...

guys... i jus tried my top speed on NSH and hit 247km/h....from Udang seaside to 2nd link.... and my fuel consumption is 16.5km/litre after the wacking... normal riding will be around 17.5km/litre.. btw... my bike is stock with only a K&N air filter... care to share ur top speed and with any mods ? i have to say that F4i is great... no wobbling and quite stable during high speed... except that the stock windscreen is not high enough... and my stupid I.U bracket too long... can't really lean my head down on the fuel tank properly...anyone has a spare shorter bracket to sell or noes where i can buy it besides custom made at SK?

My cbr hit 260km/h b4 on the NSH , but not by me . Fuel mileage dropped till quite low . All on standard trim .

hmmm how come ur wacking still consume so little petrol?

 

my bike with totally stock fueling, normal mostly expressway riding(90-100km/h i get around 20-21km/l.

But if i avg 150-170km/hr NS highway riding, my fuel comsumption drops to 13-15km/l.

wah.. 260km/h... thats fast man... that is above 160miles/hr already... even fastbikes.com cannot managed to hit that speed on the 2001 models of all the 600cc sportsbikes...

hmm.. cos my fuel tank is full when i was from Udang seaside to 2nd link via NSH... open and off my throttle at NSH.. actually managed to hit 247km/h 2 times... and when i reach GP petronas... i have covered 33km and pump 2 litres which is = to 16.5km/litre... my mech adjusted the fuel/air ratio on my throttle bodies b4... nt sure issit becos of the adjustment makes my bike running lean.... cos previously when i jus gotten my bike... it tends to backfire everytime i close throttle... so bring it down to my mech for washing of throttle bodies and he did some adjustment...

Best is to go Seng Kwang..the custom make one for u at ur preference..but its kinda costly lah!

Talk abt consumption..last i monitored was my trip to Ko Samui in september.

Monitored from Air Keroh to Gelang Patah.Speed was at 180km/h onwards..only slowed down when i reach the Toll at G.P.I hit 245km(reserved) once i entered Gelang Patah Exit.

Normal riding in Singapore.(@80-120km/h)able to get at least 320km before hit reserve.

My bike has only K&N airfilter/stock jettings/15(F)-45® sprockets/Yoshi TRS race endcan.Tank can fill up to 17Litres petrol.

F4/F4i can hit 260 or maybe more..

RR-270..throttle still can open some more..

F3-tried 260 max with stock jettings.

 

From wat i've read & heard..

But if wanna go more high end go for Kawa's lah..their powerplant is Grunting with speed.

i jus tried my top yesterday night at NSH... meter shows 247km/h... i'm not sure whether still can go up anot... but i took a quick glance on my RPM and its pointing at the 14000rpm already... oso nt sure whether our speedo accurate anot... i've got a video by fastbikes.com comparing the 2001 models 600cc sportsbikes like the zx-6r, f4i (touring model), r6, g6 ... onli 2 bikes can only manage to hit a top speed of 150mph = 240km/h by a laser speed gun... and thats the zx6-r and F4i... the R6 and G6 was clocked at around 145mph...in the end.. they rate the zx-6r the best bike... till now.. its still the best in my opinion... but for the F4i... i've no complains about it cos i'm loving it.. btw... the F4i got many good reviews by some UK and US magazines compared to the other makes during that time... now its still rated well when they compared the used bikes

lets wait for the organiser to cfm the meeting place.. but i think he's confirm going to Yishun Dam.. quite a nice place to chill out, chit chat and look at other bikes.... where do u stay ??

wow.. nice... 320km b4 reserve is great man... issit cos its using carbs?? thats why it so fuel efficient
