The CBR's weight shouldn't be a problem for me as the Phantom is pretty much like a concrete pillar with a 200cc engine, but what I am concerned about is the difference in torque, power and handling.

i did exactly that. jumped on a 600RR straight from a phantom 150.

 

when the bike is on the move, u will feel no probs. in fact, the bike actually feels lighter and more nimble than the phantom.

 

its when its not moving that u will face probs. it is considerably harder to use leg power to move the bike. critical when u park downslope thinking u can leg power reverse the bike up the slope like the phantom, only to get in trouble when u realize u cant. even slight slope will give prob.

 

the other prob u will face is the considerably higher seat. critical when trying to get down a curb. i dropped my bike trying to get down a curb coz my leg was dangling off the floor like an idiot. coming from a phantom it never occurred to me that my feet wont be able to reach the floor with front wheel on lower ground and rear wheel on higher ground.

 

other than that, u'll be fine. take it easy on the throttle and u'll find the bike can be gentle, wont try to bite u or anything.

ya...de bike are harmless to even bite at low rev...just make sure the foot are on the peg when it zoom back 7k rpm.....lolz

Need to find it urgently, my pillion sit flew off while I was riding due to my stupidness, now the sit cover is in relatively bad shape, torn at a few places

Try the shop near the POSB bank along lavender rd , looks like a lot of bikers go there to do their seats .

there is this nick "motovation accessory" from SBF, he is selling headlight protector with 3M velcro tape...got my clear one for less than $50, mabbe u can contact him directly for a qoute...

Just need to ask one question:

 

When i start my engine, the FI indicator will activate. I am new to FI engines and stuff. Anyone here knows what could possibly be the case?
