Initially wanted to get bt014, but no stock again!?. Although dragon evo is cheap and good, i paid abit more for sportec M1 as i like the way it steers.

my next tyre would probably be diablo(standard model, by then this should be widely available).

bt020 should be a very good tyre, although its a touring tyre but i belief its still hard for an avg rider to abuse that tyre till it skids. ur friend must be very fierce, or that tyre is already past its intended life(expired, heat cycles, etc...).

Yup we did told its gonna be risky if he gonna push his BT020 at the track...but things happen..

Anyway..i using BT014 currently..its good but in track..its need a longer warm up..if not it will drift in corners,thats gonna scare the BEJIBBEEsss out of ur ASZ when that happen..ESP on the BM turn..hehehe.

But on long ride..the tire kick asz..taking turns on the NSH or Thai's trunk road like hot knife on butter!!

Anyway..always wanted to try Sportec M1..but since the Diablo is out..maybe gonna try that out as the price is not Far out for me..

Wat do u think abt the Diablo compared to the M1??

So, how's the reponse? Need 60 participants to get them in rite, do hope will able to get tat many riders. I've thorough check on my bike 1st b/4 tinking of goin down 2 track.

I cant make it on 4 Dec.... have to work..... sigh......

I think..there are oso riders for Malaysia,Thailand..etc.Joining too..so maybe might not need 60 participants from S'pore,But i might be wrong..Don QUOTE me ah..heheh!

huh?? u serious?? u saw this bike at Boon Siew?? i thought Boon Siew dosen't sell this bike anymore cos of the RR version... if this is true... then i will drop by to see it ... i bought my bike 2nd hand 4 mths ago for 8.8k machine price... mine's 01 model... do search around and think carefully about which bike u want to get... dun expect too much power from the F4i compared to the other 600cc... its engine is smoother like a Super 4 and its more of an all-rounder bike than a sportsbike.... unless u get a 2nd hand sports model... more racer-looks sitting position... besides this... the rest are all similiar between the sports and touring model... (touring model has main stand)

diablo corsa compared to M1?

erm... too expensive? lol, never tried before.

 

Honestly i've never had any tyre grip issues with any brand/make of tyres even touring ones as im not an agressive enough. The only time my rear spun was over grass patches with mud, and that experience was a hairy enough...

Why don't you guys join the usual Fri nite 2nd link sportbike outing? The turnout is pretty good and you get a mix of riders with all makes of sportbikes mostly 600cc and up. You'll get to leave fingerprints on machines other than the ones you are familar with The pace is usually OTOT and nobody gets left behind as there is always a reliable volunteer last man.

My F3 don have the Diablo corsa..only have diablo due to the tyre size..

that day HKL qoute me

Sportec M1-$270

Maybe gonna change end of the month...till then will read up on these two tyre's..

but this two tyre's are from diffrent brand but they are Sister company..wonder if the use same material & technology..

wah lau, the price is raised so much compared to the outgoing model.

of the ang moh forums that i read on, diablo standard is high regarded. and most prefer it over M1.

actually kinda tempted wit the diablo..but the M1 have Great review oso from the locals here..so now cannot make up mind..heheheh
