Premix 2T on 2-strokers

same lah, piston getting lubrication from 2t anyways

if put in first then pump no need shake shake cos the petrol currents will mix with the 2t easily.

i ask my experience fren abt premixing and he said to stick to pump. y? because of the new technology available present on 2stroke bikes now compared to the yesteryears bike...

 

if we premix the amount of 2t will be equal thru out the rev range whre else wif pump the amount is equal to the rev range meaning.. during low revs the amount wont be the same when high revving.

 

some might agree while some may not... everyone has their own opinion. iam just sharing some info which might be useful to does that are thinking of going premixing

waadee. i think premix is better cos thinking about it in simple terms, if your piston is moving up and down faster (high revs) it would be better to have more 2T going into the piston to lubricate it. Same reasoning if u are at low revs, less 2T is required to lubricate the piston and block. Wont premixing be much better as compared to 2t Pump?

 

No matter what revs u are, the 2T pump will supply the same amount of 2t to the cylinder. Firstly, lubrication problems at high revs or too smokey at low revs. Secondly you are not maximizing the potential output of your engine as you have more 2t instead of fuel in your (fuel:2T:air) mixture.

i tink wad u say makes sense... anyway dis morning i just got summon by nea at the causeway coming bak frm jb for smoke polluttion... early in the morning my day was already bad.... i still cant find that cough syrup bottle for premixing..

i just take a bottle of lemon tea or something. drink finish, wash. use a cooking measuring beaker to mark 50 to 500ml with permanent marker and use scotch tape over the markings (to prevent fading) viola. free diy bottle.

U guys know what. my friend's friend used a high quality 2T,i forgot wad,but damn expensive. It was good for the engine and environment(very little smoke,not even visible). But then, he decided not to use it because he doesnt feel good coz there is no smoke at all.haha.

Honestly Theres Good And Bad Using Premixes.... But The Question Will Be Will It Be Convenient For You And Do You Feel Shiok About It At The End Of The Day.....

i use pennzoil 2t marine. u can say i swear by it..coz i only use that 2t. somemore 2t pump set at minimum..bike can hi rev and nv jam(thankfully). and no smoke after few mins of riding.
