upss for mezzo!! honest and professional advice given by andrew on suspension. why it leaks, how seals and worn shafts are important.

 

just sharing wif s4 owners ive sent my friends shocks to a suspension specialist before and it leaks after 4 mths of usage. the reason why??

 

he inspected the shocks and told me my shafts are already worn off and it shouldnt be service at the first place. to add up by using the CUSTOM MADE seals which are not even TEFLON coated, juz normal rubber and its not double lips, it shouldnt be use to replace the oem worn seals. it worsen the condition of the shaft. single lips would not retain the lubricant whereas double lips would.

 

he even showed me and my friend the diff of CUSTOM MADE seals which cost a few dollars and the correct seals from race tech which is double lips and teflon coated which cost $30+ if i can remember.

 

im so impressed by the service rendered and im looking forward to have my forks upgraded at MEZZO. Way the go MEZZO!!

How much would it cost for a Class 2 fork servicing??rough quotation would do..

 

fork servicing is 190 + parts. package includes full stripping and checking of fork internals, change of oil, seals and dust covers. plus tender loving care and a nice wash for the fork.

 

archer: any idea when is micron end can for S4 coming??

micron is currently doing a revamp for s4 exhaust. heard the new outlook is pretty stunning.

projekt revolutionz is the authorised workshop for mezzo. as long it's got 2 wheels and a engine, we are able to service it. with the exception of scooters! :angel:
