never never do major things in JB.. reason being? simple.. heres a short fact and fiction.

fiction:

Original parts

FACT:

most probably made in thailand or malaysia parts.

Reason:

Cut cost , morever original parts cost almost the same as sg or maybe cheaper by 1 or 2 dollar.

and... best of all.. u cant see what they put inside the bike until the next servicing which by then (eg piston) already blackened and hard to differentiate it.

My boss have an accidents in JB before. Kanna carrot $4k, but after some arguing with the help of local gangster , manage to bring it down to $800. Think twice if you want to service your bike or car in JB cos you maybe the next carrot.

Small items like change engine oil, oil filter etc still ok as you can observe them when they do, and its a fast job. Intermediate to major ones still do in SG better.

you could have done the "repairs" yourself.

remove tank, empty out the gunk, fill it with petrol.

you might need to change the plugs as well.

keep flooding the carburetor until there is more petrol than diesel. and keep trying to start the bike.

diesel in your tank. aiyo.
