[Discussion] Most fuel-economical petrol in JB

I don't know if this has been discussed before, cause i never come across this kind of thread before. So i hope I'm the first. Among all the pump stations in JB namely(pls note that we're talking about petrol above grade 95 here):

 

• Caltex
  
• Shell
  
• BHP
  
• Esso
  
• Petronas
  

 

Which is the most fuel-economical petrol you know? In other words, which petrol u can travel a slightly greater distance among the 5 listed above? Assuming that you're not those kind who always like to keep "whacking" your bike(RPM above 8-9 onwards).

 

I've heard of some people saying Petronas 97 is the best fuel economical. What do you guys think?

Personally been using Ron 97 F1 - Esso. Thinks it has been pretty good so far...

i think this is a somewhat pointless discussion becos thr wil be no clear conclusion in the end.. diff type n brand of fuel wil affect diff bikes differently.. do u understand ? its not like everyone who uses brand 'A' ron95 wil get better mileage.. everyone wil have varying results so who's going to consolidate them ? u ? and even if thr was any diff it wil be minimal n insignificant

95 is 95, 97 is 97. You can't even quantify any differences because of factors like riding styles, weather conditions, traffic conditions, etc. The difference is probably so minute that you'd end up wasting a day in your life trying out this pointless experiment.

petronas just sucks,the fuel like burn very slow,even when using 97

ever use petronas, esso & shell

shell seems to give a better milage, but the margin is min, or perhaps my calculation wrong.

lots of factors involved, for one, ur topup will be different each time and these min margin r hard to count.

I used BP for my tiny bike
