  1. Friend having same situation, Duke and CB190R both single cylinder EFI models. Within 2B bike, even tho theres only a small difference of engine displacement on specs, it is a big difference that users can feel directly on the road. Looks wise, both are aggressive and modern looking, even my mom looks good riding it. Accessories are almost universal, only certified pipes might be an afterthought if you plan to install one. Honda being the reputable brand, price confirm kena mark up. Even tho KTM is a prestige brand, but 50/50 feels that the india made lineage is a warning rod for reliability issues, but still expensive. Last but not least, Duke has the option of ABS. Conclusion, I would take the KTM (in today's context) for its price similarity with Cb190R but with the option of ABS, proven reliability over the years and I would somehow prefer KTM's lineage of single cylinders. Having personally ridden duke 200, it is smooth as butter for a single cylinder bike, each strokes feel more heavy and powerful compared to fz16, which the honda cb190r share similar specs to. OR if you are a new rider, consider to save up for a 2A bike, given the need to buy comprehensive insurance, running in and know-hows of caring for a brand new bike. (The image of me dropping my new bike on the first month still hurts) Okay I may be spouting nonsense but thats what me and my fren came to a conclusion with. Still loving the look of that CB190R tho
  2. Has anyone changed their rear sprockets to 38T? I read all the raving reviews by fellow zee riders, but hoping to learn more about 1) Any downside or negative effects. 2) Which 38 or 39T is more suitable for SG roads, streets+expressway 50/50 3) Recommended brand and which mototiam stock 38/39T (was hoping raptor haha but open to more suggestions) New zee rider here, but local sumo forum seems so quiet =( still greatly loving my zee tho
  3. Hi guys, if anyone is scrapping their GT200L I am looking to buy it certain parts or whole bike if reasonable, please give me a call at nine eight four eight 39 three 9. Got into a hit and run accident recently, looking for second hand parts =(
  4. LeoVince and Scorpion has street legal exhausts for GT200, search for respective authorised resellers in SG to enquire more.
  5. Yup I believe so too, as I'm working in retail line. Anyone has issues with FA front rack for GT200? Mine kept dropping out due to the top hook on frame design.
  6. Been parking at Funan IU per entry for some time now. Always no motorcycle spot, so parked at non-allocated spots. Went to reservist two weeks and this morning I saw fellow rider's bikes parked in non allocated spots kena clamp liao, and they park in spaces not harmful to any motorist leh. Wth is this, 3 lvl of parking lots but not more than 20 bike spots. Thinking to email Funan management about this, or will I be wasting my breath?
  7. A short story to share on getting spare keys from a well known Vespa dealer near Sim Lim. My second hand GT200 keys (ignition + box) were rotten and I decided to get a new set, bought from the dealer, happy that they had it and they said the key programming is abit complicated and it they need to charge labour cost for it. I said why not, that's great since it was a sensitive issue! Went to Goodluck smith beside Regina, have to say their workmanship is top notch for $3 per key. Went back to the dealer and uncle told me need to wait one and a half hour to get they programming done in order for the duplicated key to be "smooth as water", but I was rushing for time thus walked away. Had some free time today, decided to head back to dealer for extra accessories and programming. Out of the blue, I decided to call SG Vespa agent to check the price for keys programming. They told me they do not provide such service and the reason was that it (programming) was so easy, even a 3 year old kid could do it. And yes, I did it lesser than a minute having the spare key programmed with no hiccups at all. My thoughts, Yes I may be a stupid virgin Vespa owner who did not read the manuals and a sucker for old folks advice like how my Grandma's advice always proved useful. And maybe I'm not a "regular" or have a friendly sociable attitude but I am definetly courteous when I ask for anything. Conclusion, I would seek out every other alternatives before visiting mentioned dealer again. Not trying to accuse or seek condemnation against them but things happen and this happened, just hoping the guy who was like me a new vespa owner on Saturday seeked out opinions before blindly trusting anyone too. Ride safe and keep your wallets safe. PS: I hope if anyone paid a fee for their programming could enlighten me if there's any wonderful extra features offered by uncle besides a key that just works.
  8. Short Review on NTUC as a first time independent buyer Hello everyone, I just got my second bike recently through online individual. I got my first bike through a dealer, so everything was no fuss chop chop but of course we all learn that not everything is such a sweet deal afterall. Nonetheless, I rushed down to a NTUC Income office @ Woodlands Civic branch approx 6.05pm, thinking that I might not be able to get the paperwork done because they are closing at 6.30pm. Surprisingly, the lady provided such prompt service asking only the necessary and without any pauses or wait in between allowing me to apply for a new insurance and a delayed cancellation on my current policy. Paperworks were full and surprisingly comfortable environment. As an inexperienced buyer, this is a very positive experience even though I have not visited other companies or branches but I work in retail line and I know a good service when I experience it. Something cool to add on, the prices online were much more expensive compared to the one I was quoted at the counter ($467 vs $384). Good luck to any first time buyers. Hope this helps Cheeers
  9. Thanks, I got a Malossi foam filter instead. Taken the advice from guys at gilera.sg. Wanted a K&N but it will choke up during rainy days, and cheap metal mesh filters tend to crack under slight pressure. Hope this can be a help to anyone in the future.
  10. Hi to all R15 riders here, am interested to get a second hand R15 V2.0 from forumers here. If anyone is willing to let go please kindly drop me a PM!
  11. Can't resist to comment on oldskool bro's reply, farking funny lol
  12. My biggest problem was blind spot too but it became my least deducted point in tp when I just told myself to look in the direction that I am turning into. That's all, try revising circuit before booking your next L5 or even L7
  13. Hi there, anyone got experience with broken open pod air filter? I have some tiny cracks on the air filter that is enough to allow sand and dust in. Can I continue to ride the bike and sent it for servicing and replacement of air filter later on? Or is there a huge possibility that particles sucked in could damage the engine and cause further damage? Also is there any recommendation for brands of air filters for open pod system? Thanks!
  14. 1. Gilera Runner 200 series 2. KTM Duke 200 3. Yamaha YZF-R15 4. Honda SP150 (A devil's voice in my head is influencing me on this) 5.Yamaha FZ16
  15. Got the Nolan N44 (PSB) Black Gloss for several days now since new shipment at CA came in, had used all the different combinations. It definitely has a superb ventilation than most of the helmets, didn't sweat at all riding from north to town area, and the modular combination was the reason why I dived into it. Still waiting for the spare paddings to arrive, as I feel that S size is very tight. And anyone got the Black storm version? Wanted it got but scared the matte black will kena scratch like mad.
