But IMO SP's sound is the nicest among all the 2b 2 strokes. The rest are too piercing, even RS125 :(

But when you compare a 2 stroke with a 4 stroke of the same cc, i won't say that it is no power anymore :D

the worst is rxz la..damn noisy. but to me i think the nicest 2b sports bike is KRR, apart from the 2 stroke and noisyness i think its ok leh.. but the insurance kills.. i like it because its light, powerful and keeping it stock alone is enough already...

also, i think tzm is one hell of an weird and ugly bike. lol

 with the amount spent on the 2 strokes. Why not a 4 stroke 2a bike?

maybe, but 2a no 2 stroke la only got the nsr250 pgm and rd 350 which is all soooooo old schooll.. when u peh the valve may just break and disintegrate. lol

but 2 stroke is fun lo. just pure senseless fast and dangerous fun.

There is no replacement for displacement, except for Ah Seng

It depends dude, owners might have did something to their pipes before. They all come with "tamed" pipes if you didn't know till now. Just like why some CBR150 can get quite irritating also. If they(the pipes) are left untouched, then its up to the note of which they emit. Rxz has 2 versions of their end can if I'm not wrong. The Latter being the much proclaimed "weaker" component.

Ps: Tzm is one of the Jap bikes that can Tia SP if you also didn't know. Then we talk about the rider playing a part.

You left out many others dude if you wanna talk about Rd350. There's also Rs250 and a few more which you should know. Why the valve would disintegrate if its not just wear and tear? did you know some RVF400/Nsr150/Tzm/Krr/Lc135/Rxz/125z is also as old as some of them oldies bike which still can last till today? Its because of the previous owner's care for it. You can buy a new 1st hand bike and it needs to be overhauled after 15k mileage or less if you are one bugger.

Cheers and Merry X'mas dude  Don't drink and ride!

ha. All these bikes are sooooo old already, many moons, suns, rains passed, even though its being overhauled repaired and stuff liek tat, its performance will never be the same as before.

TZM tia SP tia krr, is not even important, its just an small 2b bike for newbies to try their hands on. by saying this kind of things jsut stir up the hormones in some younger riders and leading them to crashing and up-ing the insurance which I have to pay ...

Srsly speaking, old bike have quite afew irrritating problems one, no matter how much $ u pour into an old bike because of love, it will still give you probs. Take for example me, i used to own a 26 year old bike. Due to my weight and stuff, i hardly exceed 80kmh. I wash it, lube it change EO regularly, check this and that spend $$ on reparing, in the end the $$ spend is more than what my bike is worth, yet it runs well for 5 days, take MC for 1 day.

luckyly i not a hardcore rider... if not proly the bike will die liao. Am not trying to poke back at you jB, but i think no matter how much $ is spend on a 2 stroke its gg to go one day. So is the same for 4 strokies. Cause our engines are designed to work at high RPM, unlike cars, even though cars also the same thing, get a 60's A.Martin Db 5, modernise it, it will still burn up overheat and give attitude after 2 hrs of 100kmh ride.

no matter how much we debate, the facts remains, don't believe can try lo, F 3*** J

old are good, condition depends. When you start riding class 2, you'll understand why there are still many going after old cl2,2a,2b bikes for their power. And their bikes are 1/2 your age or more and still running strong on the road, some even to the 299 era

kids will be kids. I won't **** on noobs because I was once one myself.

You can't poke me, I'm straight dude.

I won't say I'm not a hardcore rider, I believe I'll be lying like a guniang if I say I'm not hardcore for there are times we need to whack the bikes when its under our care. Unless its really a guniang holding the throttle.

They work till certain rpm before they are restricted. Same for cars if you've understand and owned them yourself. Continue reading online, they'll still be theoritical facts. Own them, then you can declare that which are the facts.:deal:

It still boils down to who's the driver/owner/rider.

actually, we were young once.

all the hype when we just passed, the glee on the face when we finally get the chance to ride our 2B dream bike, who wouldnt be more happy?

then there's the temptation to see how fast it goes, who wouldnt try?

then, comes the time to upgrade, oh goodie, finally can hv a faster machine, die die oso must hv the hands on a minimum 250cc..

but as one grows older, also wiser(or still...). one would try not to repeat same mistakes once made, ain it?

as the years rolls by, tastes & time changes, a bigger, faster, 2 wheels the way right? minimum 500cc...

i believe by this time, experience has been gained, but never ending.

jB's right, its not the ride, the bike or anything else, it all just boils down to the rider itself.

set in the right mindset, right mood, give it any bike, it'll be pleasureable, no matter how.

of cos, knowing the costs of hw deep the pocket will be burn when the machine decides to take mc, one would defitnitely be more cautious to maintain the machine, unless, he/she is sponsored...

so, if the rider knows how to tk care of the machine, it'll literally tk care the rider back... :thumb:

dun understand my blabbering? nvm, im just going bonkers...

well like what u have said earlier ma. I can only comment if i have owned one, yes i do own one, thats why i am saying, but i have my fair share of looking at lao kok [2 T] bike running around, but I havent seen any bike that is more than 30 years old still doing transportation. even the K i saw at certain areas at Jln besar, china town, they are all younger than my older bike, i went to talk to the ah peh, they stared at me like one kind. Maybe you say it boils down to the owner, true, I maintained it kept it in tip top condition yet it still fails me..

I'm really at wits ends sometimes..

some ah peh's bike which u see running on the road, the ah pek is prolly older than me and JB combined.. why their bike can still ferry them ard? is because when you look close up on the bike, you can see how rough their bike is, the cltuches are slipping and yet the ah peh dont care. the main reason? because they don't care! they just keep using lo, our bikes also can what, only some of us are more anal then others..

maybe he is just gg to wait for coe times up then buy a new one? :? The last time i saw a AX plate rxk too, I was at tuas, i went up with him and talked to him, then i realised how terrible his bike is. he told me, 'this K ah? throw away lo. I'm old anyway, after the bike coe finish i give govment take metal lo'

hahaha. nayway i also lost on what i am saying la. sometimes i really pity some ah pek's bike. thrashed really badly, engine giving way soon, and they are still pushing it, because i think they dont care about it already,

as for the TZM, I don't mean to offend you or anyone, to my opinion its abit off, but to you it maybe not, so pls dont get offended. And it is true that 2 strokes are hell of a fun bike.. you can practically fly on that bike.. but i think 4 strokes fit me better.

Yea, though 2 strokies are fun to ride and fast but i guess if you are those that go for comfort and practical bikes, 4 stroke are still better. :thumb:

Of course what I said earlier is logical, else I won't bother to type so much  Those who appreciate them, be it RXK or Vespa or w/e, will like them. I on the other hand don't, except for 2 bikes; KTM & RS125. You might have taken care of it extremely well but it might be too late to salvage the situation. Its like wearing condoms after contracting AIDS.

ITS jB!

:btw: go look around, you might be able to find some old bikes lesser mileage(not that it has gone a complete round) than your current new bike. Just that some aged components need replacement like Rubber which will harden or w/e.

They are the ones that make old bikes "old and haggard"

I'll always miss the RS I rode before, RIP. :weep:

4 strokes cl2 bikes fits me more ;]

For more nonsense like mine you can refer to another abang's beneath.

no but i'm curious what it does apart from the 'tong' pipe. I read about some parts and some websites, most just talk about the 2 stroke exhast the belly only nothing about the chamber pipe leh.

so apart from being irritating, what it does? and how is it done?
