PASSED 2A! heh, time to get a bigger bike that my parents don't know about, too.

Haha, think for now, I'll stick with the x1. It's the ultimate poor-student bike! However, if I somehow succeed in getting my parents' support, then super four -- by far, the most established and reliable 400cc street bike.

Congrats.

There's Suzy's GSR4 also.

Competitive to S4.

Unless you're adventurous, there's the ol' reliable XR4, or DRZ.. heheh..

& please, go tel yr parents abt it... :nono:

Haha, i would say s4 is the min. To go touring

Dun go with smaller unless ur group is all small bike

If u follow big bike s4 is the min to follow

It has the enough speed and power to follow in MY road

But of coz if got a 600cc will be best

My group the uncle is leading at 140km/hr, s4 can do it but if can get 600 de to follow will be much better

It's the rider, not the bike... :deal:

heheheh...

But please bring a super exp person to view bike

heheh.. defitnitely not me.. :p

Haha kev act blur :p

seriously, I dunnoe.

Cos when it comes to bike shopping, I know nuts abt it.

I only know, buy 1st hand(my POV), cos you'll get to understand the bike frm the start.

Unless a very close fren selling, & all the conditions are tip top, so shld be alright.

Other than that, when comes to $$ wise, as long as I can afford per month, I dont really bother but within budget la.. @ least not exorbitant price bah..

hence, you wont see me on a continental or rare LE bikes.(bt test ride hv la.. :D)

Lol den that busa dunno need wait how long sia

if the riders dont mind, it doesnt matters. ;)

The GSR4 sounds great, but its heavier and a little on the tall side. I've decided to tahan with the x1 till I graduate. Getting increasingly attached to it -- convenience and amazing fuel consumption ftw! Haha, will play with bigger bikes when I graduate.

I had planned to tell them this weekend, but there's been a bit of a family emergency, so, I held off. But, I'm definitely telling them once the crisis clears -- delayed long enough.

All the best for u

Hope they will 1day allow u to ride big bike haha

Even if they don't allow, go ahead and follow your heart. Personally I think that passion overwrites everything. Even parent's objection. I may sound selfish, but heck. Please don't flame me for this.

GSR4 heavy?

I think the cumbersome S4 is a tad more heavy than Suzy.

Tall side is not a problem, you can either, shave the seats, or set the rear mono-shock to low so as to compromise.

& if you're interested to try, I've got a lobang.

well, every family has their own story to tell.

So, :goodluck:

& still, to break the news them is still better than not. :thumb:

Yes, passion overwrites everything.

But than, not everyone can accept or think the same way, especially any parents.

Try putting yrself in their shoes.

Cant?

Then till the day you're one yrself, you'll understand why...

& no, Im not preaching here, but just speaking on past experiences..

my 0.01¢..

Which one you want to hear? o_O

Not that, but the road I'd walk.

& only now then I truly understand what my parents had wanted me to go thru, but I defied.

Well, everyone would have their growing up days...

Damn I miss those days...

LoL...
