Why don't you go and see for yourself? Just pay RM5 for entry on weekends, and weekdays free entry to just go in. If you have the proper equipment, go and try it for yourself.

 

I warn you first. Once you've been bitten by the track bug, you can't stop going. It's very addictive.

 

The track is about skill and control. So much better than playing on the road. PG is a very technical course compared to Sepang. Get someone to show you around. Just try once for the experience. If you don't like it, that's fine. At least you know what peope are talking about.

There's track day this Sun and 24th, why don't the few of you who've never been go and take a look? RM5 for entry to the pits. It's 3 hours From 10am to 1pm.

No need buy suit. Just need full suit. Just need amoured jacket, gloves, boots and full face helmet. Wearing skateboard knee pads is also a must. Though not a requirement.

 

Have heard of stories of people scrape their knees badly because of no knee pad.

 

The track is a really fun place. Buying a jacket, gloves and boots is also good for your own safety, especially to Malaysia when you ride really fast. Go to the track at least once to see what it's all about and why people talk so much about it.

I'm planning to go during a weekday, the week after next. Will post the date. Can orientate those interested. It's always better to have someone guide you along for newbies. I'm no pro, but have been taught by 5th rider the proper linings and technique.
