it's looks so cool... arghhh. :help:

anyway are u sure it's 200? cause i got info from sources it's 220..

BAJAJ PULSAR DTS-Fi 220 CC

Bajaj Auto is all set to re-launch its popular bike Bajaj Pulsar DTS-i bike with a souped up 220 CC and air-cooled, four-stroke SOHC engine.

The new version of the bike, to be called DTS-Fi, will boast one of the first four-stroke engines in the world employing DTS-Fi technology with automatically-controlled ignition timing for each plug. (Again a highly questionable technology which provides no proof that is works.)

The new Pulsar has a fuel injection mechanism which should give it a quick throttle and a linear power curve. Pulsar DTS-Fi will be the first Indian motorcycle with an oil-cooled engine. It is expected to reach a top speed of 135kph. A longer wheelbase, factory-fitted rear and front disc brakes, a front-facing and all-digital meters are the additional features in the forthcoming bike. The LCD speedometer on the DTS-Fi is orange in colour and the complete speedometer mechanism has been beautified.

The new Pulsar will return 21 bhp with maximum torque of 1.95 kg. It may have 90/90-17 tubeless tyres in front and 120/80-17 tubeless in rear. Plus, it is the first vehicle in India to employ a hydraulically actuated 230 mm rear disc brake.

It will be 2,035 mm in length, 750 mm in width and 1,140 mm in overall height. The curb weight will be 140 kg.

It couldnt be the 220, the 220 comes wit the half fairing...from the photo it looks like the 180 ug 3...but there seems to be air intake manifolds...which i think the 180 ug3 doesnt hav... Hmmmmmm :cheeky:

bajaj is one funny company... i dont see the point in producing bikes of little c.c difference in such a short time.

besides our 180c.c, there is also the 200c.c dat i posted and the 220c.c fuel injected coming out soon.. so u see....

i tink the 200c.c is just a bigger bore of our 180c.c with a little extra fairing on the tank and better position foot pegs

so.. theres the ug3 180c.c, 220c.c fuel injected, and the 200c.c dtsi

Wat u saw was d new Pulsar 180 lah. Notice that the 200's seat n exhaust are diff fr d 180's (but similar to d 220's).

150, 180, 200, 220 ..... 4 variants of the Pulsar; but displacement difference of only 70cc! :faint:

i think for Bajaj company.. the max they can 'make-do' is 220cc or 250cc....

cos i dun think they can make like 400cc, like super four or XJR and still produce the same fuel consumption...

as for me.. even thou pulsar 200 or 220 arrive in singapore, i'll still stick to my current pulsar. but to those newbie, of cos lah, choose the higher CC if u can afford or the price different is not that much.

i see my self riding my black prince for a long time, minimum 5 years..

anyway anyone plan to change thier rear tyre to a bigger and thick one?

i dun know bro.. i was thinking.. if a bigger tyre have greater grip.

so to change to a bigger tyre, need to change the rear rim.. so if to change the rear rim, i will change with those that can fix rear disc brake...

up till now, i keep forgetting to ask the JB workshop on how much it cost to change all this things...
