I've spoke to Bro Paiseh about this DIY session and the date. He will gather the number of ppl coming latest by Monday 18th Dec(closing date). Cos he need to prepare the wiring in advance. So for those can't make it, we're sorry. and for those who summit thier name late, do PM him. Please indicate your nick and wat u wanna do, eg; hazard lights, grounding or LED pole light(color). Hope u all can make it, so can take another group pic. for those that behave during the session will get a free ice-cream(paddle-pop). heh!

hoho..long time nv reply u guys..my pulsar exhuast recently keep having popping sound during deceleration and idling rpm rises quite alot after riding for like 15min..any bros know the problem or any suggestions? went 2 bike shops (including uni motors) both nv manage to solve it..lazy mechs always tell me its like dat 1..just trying to smoke their way thru..zzz..

 

so long since the last diy..maybe we should have a xmas present xchange? haha..limited to only pulsar fixable parts~!

did u hav it after u hav travel high speed for some time? mine do happen also.. My mech say its was due to the Fuel go in too much.

eh its something like backfire but the sound not so loud and i did not touch the exhaust b4 it start to happen recently leh..

 

to bro Z^^kia:

 

i have it even if i start the bike in the morning..if i park @ MCP, even @ gear 1, go down slope i will hear it...cases i always hear it:

 

1. deceleration / close throttle @ gear 5 high speed

2. when i try to use engine brake

3. when going down slope

 

its like always happening when rpm is high..

but i rather have back the bike without the popping sound..haha..its damn irritating man..

hai..i had a fall @ PIE yesterday...i hope all the bros out there riding pulsar go change the default tyres and add crash bar for yr own safety..was braking @ center lane due to another accident infront with the TP parked @ the turning blind spot...car infront braked...then i brake to i think ard 50km/hr then tyre slipped..

 

damage report on right side of bike: cowl scratched, brake level scratched, handle bar scratched, signal light scratched, crash bar bent, exhaust (the silver part) abit dented..

How about you ray.. u hurt? u any scratch? be careful.. take your time.. have saftey distance bro.. u never know. for me when i ride, when i'm close to cars or taxi, i always stik to my head that the vehcle gonna brake or turn so i'm very alert plus my foot often on the brake when comes close to vehicle.

our erp are under warranty, three years if i'm not wrong.. if u kena summon, jus bring your letter of summon to LTA and they test your erp, and if its is really faulty, they will fix or give u a new one and waive off your summon.
