my bike is the latest.... just my though... since they are the importer of this bike, why are they still giving me the Xw40 type to EO... this is ridiculas.... they should know what is suitable for this bike...

 

Thats y we say that UM mech dun noe anythin bout this bike.

Instead of repairing our bike, they making things worse.

Who to fix the parts, i would personally recommend Mah Motorparts as the mechanic and boss speak from decades of experience (they used to mostly deal with kups and RXKs and honda customs since 1960s) and especially when i offer to buy more products from them they discourage me and advise me to buy only what's required. So i find them trustworthy.

 

I guess James PulsarBee R1 would second this, as it's his own recommendation that i got to know of this shop lol.

my UG3 still doing well.. in fact doing way better with Xw50 oils. Making customers use thin oil is what a marketing approach to earning more money. Despicable!

i juz came back from UM this afternoon from adjusting the fuel gauge thingy. seems ok now but left 3-4 litres of petrol still considered half tank???

 

anyway im not too keen in replacing the original stuff... can it last?? i spoke to jacky he told me that the diaphgram MUZ change very 10k km or so cos my bike seems to have lost power quite abit.

Im looking to mod another bike's carb into pulsar that doesnt use any form of rubber diaghram.

while frequency should be in 1-3 months or so, so as to consolidate and buy at a cheaper price.

and still be very much cheaper than UM is selling.

The fuel guage is usually just an estimation. For me, it is better for the guage to tell me that my tank is empty when in fact it is has half a tank of petrol, rather than tell me that i have half a tank of petrol when in fact i am running dry.

Dun have anymore liao those list not i scan one. Its the Indonesian Pulsar club that does the scanning. Sry. Gd luck with the ordering and btw in Indonesia they hand out Gulf 20w50 for the free oil thingy and not w40.

the thingy attached to the rear suspension.. notice there is oil seaping out... any of u guys notice it? and also attached is my meter with vapor condensening on the inside.any guys have this prob?

^ If i remember correctly that happens if you spray high pressure water on it. You need to get rid of the vapour asap before your lcd goes bonkers.

Get the suspension serviced. The condensation is a production problem the whole meter is either sealed in high moisture environment or not sealed probably.

 

the meter problem is difficult to resolve. go check with um, but i doubt they will want to take up the responsibility.

 

I noticed the mechs at um are not really trained in these electronic stuffs.

 

Anyway if they are not willing to do anything about it, you can try to make the meter go bongkers, and change it for a new one (might get back the same problem) or take it apart and spray some contact cleaner with water repelling property.
