by the way, pulsar's 80km/hr is phantom 200's 89km/hr. tested and proven with 3 phantom 200s

 

and seriously, i dun haf the urge to speed at all. i tink 70km/he is perfectly fine.

i don't think phantom meter is accurate at all, it went up to 40km/h when i have not even pulled up much, but when it reaches a cruising speed about 100, i know it's there cos i can overtake majority of cars and cubs.

 

i may just wait a while, cos COE is unbelievably high. my trustworthy mech told me he doesn't know how to fix one if breakdown, but he'll order one for me to buy, if i want to continue doing business with him. see how much he can offer me at. mean time, i'll be visiting this thread everyday.

 

Any update for the 2nd and 3rd gear slowing down stuff? all are fixed?

if u compare speed with a phantom... are the wheel size of bajaj and phantom the same??

 

mayb iam wrong here but... diff tyre size will produce diff speeds reading on the speedo right?

iam changing engine oil soon... and i have been eyeing maxima brand of engine oil. but i need comment from u guys

im using chemlub eng oil. fully synthetic. much smoother and my fuel consumption is 46.8km/litre. b4 using tat eng oil my fuel consumption is around 40-43km/litre. gear change feels smooth for the first 1500km after changing the oil but not as smooth for the 1500km to 2500km. i change eng oil every 2500km, fully syn.

 

regarding the speed issue. i tink no one can really pin point which bike has the most accurate speedo. i tink all around plus minus 10km/hr.

 

but no isse, to me, fuel consumption is the biggest issue

 

now im on 763km. fuel gauge needle still showing slightly more den half tank! i hope i can hit 1000km on this full tank. been trying to keep my speed max at 80km/hr.

 

usually travel around 65 to 70km/hr

i fix my belly pan at bukit merah lane uni motors. theres dis one mech i tink name ah seng who does a good job of fixing the pan for me. but with alot of cutting and mod abit here and there. i went home and cut the pan so it looks nicer.

 

and abt tribal design.. brader tribal outdated already lah. and my chosen colour scheme would be bajaj stock blue with lie yellow and silver

i call universal n he quate me the price veri high$4850 no insurance no box n he say for me im 21 this year,insuranve $750..i tink its a bit ex...but wen i go aljunied mtrs he say $4700 no insurance,but the insurance would cost $300 plus for me for the same type of insurance,2ndparty..cld u guys reccomend a good shop selling pulsar dat wont chop so much..i heard speedway is quite reasonable

OMG guys, im now on 846km and fuel gauge shows 1/4 tank full. seriously, i doubt i can hit 1000km been travelling like 80km/hr for the past 150clicks.

Ok, chemlub eng oil doesnt market its products. so mayeb tats y its not tat popular. the eng oil grade im using is 15W40. exactly wat the manual states.

 

im getting a bottle at $15 for a fully synthetic which i tink its quite cheap for a fully synthetic 15W40 grade eng oil.

 

if u guys are interested, i can help u guys get. its a long story how i got to know this eng oil. when we meet up i will explain

brother, the fuel gauge not accurate actually. this has been discussed b4. However, this is the rough guide:

 

From very full to full, it covers 400km

from full to reserve, it covers another 400km

from reserve to empty, it covers at least another 80km.
