*** Bajaj Pulsar 1st DIY Session ***

 

Wat will we be doing?

 

1. 3 point grounding

- magneto

- inner coil (for 1st plug)

- outer coil (for 2nd plug)

 

2. Replace our Pole light with LED pole light. $9 per pair

 

I have done my calculation for the grounding cables. Each bike needs at least 1.5m of grounding cables for 3 point grounding (i have removed my headlamp grounding, i see its useless) each bike needs 6 lugs ($3, 50cents each) and 6 heat sleeves ($3, 50cents each) $2.80 per metre of grounding cable. I will measure and prepare the grounding cables for u guys at a price of $15, meaning a set of 3 point grounding cables at $15 all done up (wan to earn abit of pocket money ). I will provide the tools to do watever we wan to do during the DIY session.

 

Location: Fern Vale Link Block 412A Multi Storey Carpark (very near jalan kayu.) if not we can meet up at jalan kayu carpark have lunch den go do together also can

Date: 30th July 2006, Sunday

Time: 1pm

I will be taking pictures. hope everyone can join in

hey guys.. questions for u.. just wanna ask a few questions on pulsar 180.. i just pass my 2b licenece.. i know little about bikes and their maintainence costs. my gf lives in hougang.. i live in cck.. that's around 60km from my place to hers and back.. both of us total weight about 130kg ? will the bike wear and tear faster den normal ? maybe twice a week ? thanks.. i wanna get black.. haha..

me and my gf .. me 110kg + my gf 60kg.. cck to pasir ris..

 

so far no problem brader... go for it.. wear and tear will of cos be faster but not immediate.. so far i have done no major repair or any over haul wad so ever... just dat it will effect yr fuel consumption.

 

ride safely brader.. u are responsible for someone elses daughter.. and so m i.. i ride carefully when iam pillioning my gf... i do not speed when there is no need to. accidents do happen but lets not it be us who cause it. we love our our bike, but we love our gf's more.

Hi everyone in here. Being reading this thread since i know about this forum n get to know how good fc pulsar is. Really wanted to get 1 soon. Reason i write today is just felling sad that i fail my 2B lesson 8. If not will be taking tp @ aug. Hmmm... think i am still able to buy the bike @ Sep or Oct. Bro Paiseh, I think I'll join in. Any deadline to confirm attendance? 1 question - Will such modifications affect our bikes' guarantee in any way?

hi, the changing of LED pole lights and grounding total takes abt 1hour 30mins. but since so many of us doing.. maybe it will take longer

grounding wont void anything. dun worry
