For your info, i gonna buy my bike that time in cash but my cousin also wanna get it but he said he had make an arrangement to meet the shop at Ubi and he gonna buy much later coz of shortage of money.

but i advice him to get it at the agent itself coz i find it more beneficial. so i lend him some money to buy together with me.

infact the shop should thank me for 'pull' a customer.

i dun know lah. sigh

Yo Bros. Traded my S4 for a pulsar. Got it last thursday.

Have to say, after riding a S4 for some time, needed a bit of adjusting to. Found that going up to 3rd and 4th gear needed abit of strength unless when I use the heel lever.

Does changing the engine oil improves the gear shifting? I heard from someone here that after changing engine oil, gear shifting improves...

It does feel abit underpowered. I think another 40cc like the upcoming 220cc would be very ideal...

Overall still a 'not bad' bike.

Welcome Operator.

well looks like you're the type of rider who particular about fuel consumption.

thats great. well yea, i agree with you, lotsa adjustment to make for you, bro.

anyway the 220cc is not that handsome. i heard universal bringing in that model end of this year. duh know how true.

yea, of coz changing to a good engine oil definitely improve the smoothness od gear shifting.

Yes Bro. Have to consider cost nowadays.

S4 consumtion is ard 20km/l. I hope to clock at least 40km/h which would cut my petrol cost by half from $120-130 to around $50. Total monthly coverage spent on bike would go down to ard $200 which is manageable.

Sounds calculative but every cent counts when you're going back to school rite...

Oh yea. Another thing. I pump in about 16.6 litres of petrol and it hasn't filled to the brim yet. More reason to go to Johor. Haha :cheeky:

well brother, thats all we can boost about.. our bike incredible fuel consumption.

well try to read back what we do to our bike to make it a better ride..

well two week ago we gather and make grounding, well some claim they did feel the different and the bike vibrate less..

i often go JB also to do some mod.. but the more sensitive stuff, i'll do it in singapore like threee days ago i do service my carb. that cost me 18 buckz.

since u ride S4 before, how much is a S4 bra tank cost?

well my recommendation definitely 'O' Ring or 'X' Ring chain.. but the thing about this good chain, they sell in a set of front and rear sprocket. i actually was suppose to get the 'O' ring chain but the rear sprocket cannot be fix to our bajaj. so i end up got a D.I.D. heavy duty Gold chain.. i dun know if you notice my chain the other time.

and it cost RM45.

anyway our stock chain definitely need to be changed cos it often go slack. now after changing, so far so good..

its good to change a chain every 10,000km.. and its only RM45. so its worth it.

anyway its adviceable when changing a new chain, its good to change a sprocket too..

so i guess if u wanna change sprocket, have to go to shop that sell Pulsar.

anyone going there anytime soon, help me ask how much is 41 teeth rear sprocket cost? (chrome color)

 Haha, seems like mod is very common amongs drivers/riders to make their transport nicer. Was wondering any brader in here have not mod their pulsar yet ? I also got lots of mod in plan after i got my ... licence + bike.

These few days have been burying my mind + concentration on the thread: STREET SMART, Advance Street Strategies... Learn n refresh many things regarding riding.

:sweat :... 17 more days to tp ...

PoP question out of the blue again, actually whats the top speed for the pulsar

180cc ? Cause always there are outing in this forum, but worry that pulsar is not able to travel close to the speed of the bike. Wanted to go for a short trip by bike to malaysia after i got my pulsar but worru will b a burden if the speed diff is too great.

tks for any brader to kill my curiousity :cheeky:

Licence

2B ------> 240806

3 ------> 200307

Bike

Manual says 127 km/h. For real-life top speed, gotta ask those who have completed their running-in. I'm still running-in my bike. Following manual strictly. 1st 1000 km, can't exceed 65 km/h. Next 1000 km, can't exceed 75 km/h :sian:

So if u wanna go on a bike trip to M'sia, better to do it after ur running-in. Unless u intend to do hard running-in lah.
